The kids’ club was outstanding! Our children spent every evening there until closing time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The evening shows were enjoyable as well. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel is old, and the rooms are outdated. The curtain in our room was so dirty and torn that I was disgusted to even touch it. The food was simply not good. There was very little variety, and what was available didn’t taste good. There was no consideration for meals that children would actually enjoy, other than pizza. I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and this is the only one where there wasn’t any ice cream by the pool or even simple snacks available throughout the day next to the pool. At times, the staff’s knowledge was disappointing. For example, I asked an employee at one of the hotels in the resort where Tirana Square was, as one of the evening shows was taking place there. She said she didn’t know, even though the square is located just outside the entrance of her hotel. We expected the staff to be more familiar with the resort and its facilities.

Clean, staff were very friendly and hospitable! So much to do for kids!

Foods were OK and staff was firendly. There's MARO kids club that kids can play with different kinds of games. The hotel is close to the sea and sea is quite clean almost crystal clear. We were satisfied and we can consider to come this hotel once again. Once again thank you for such an experience. The rooms view could be better and you can also keep couple bottle of water in the room's fridge.

Since is all inclusive food quality went down.

We purchased the all inclusive package. We were not told the pool side bar/restaurant was going to be closed. Only place to get water/food/drink was up 8 flights of stairs. Would have been advised of this prior. There was a $2 fee for towels by pool, should be included with inclusive. The menu was pork 4 out of the 6 days. Would be nice to change it up.

Staff were super friendly. We had a great honeymoon there. Super plus was that they prepared lunch boxes for us as we had to catch an early morning ferry. The pool is not heated.

The parking was not free

The beds were comfortable and liked the walk in shower. Mathew was extremely nice at the desk as well as all of the female desk attendants. Suzanna at the bar was also very nice. The evening we checked in, the man at the desk was Srban. He didn’t greet us. He didn’t welcome us to the hotel or tell us anything about the hotel. He was extremely rude. He sent us to a room with one bed even after we stated we needed a room with twin beds. When asked, he stated breakfast was from 9-11…. Not explaining brunch. Nor did he have time or was not willing to separate our balance for our stay. ALSO, no where in advertisement did it state this hotel catered to children. The dining room was overflowing with children unsupervised by their parents. Food was mostly carbohydrates with little protein added and tasteless. When there was meat served, it was tough and dry. You definitely need to have a HEALTH INSPECTOR look at your buffets. People reaching over people’s plates with food, coughing on your plates of food, children grabbing food., etc etc. Very unappealing and unhealthy! Meals were over all negative experiences. Such a disappointment after staying at Valamar Argosy Hotel.

The property is on the water and paying a bit extra for the view was worth it. The pool was beautiful and my kids enjoyed all the activities. Maro World was really impressive with so much to offer. If you have kids, this is a really perfect place for them. The property is looking a bit worn and could use a fresh coat of paint and some updates. If it had been a trip for me and my husband we would have chosen a different property. Breakfast was good but I wouldn’t recommend dinner there.

The room view was exceptional. And Maro World is still the best thing about all of the three Valamar hotels.

The soul is obvious all around, scattered in the form of many cats, birds or a wonderful lush garden. This hotel is much more than just a fancy collection of bricks above the sea.
