Locanda Di Mosconi

There’s a glass window on the floor that I guess is supposed to show you the nice stones underneath the building (my room was at the ground floor). I am a woman traveling alone and it kinda stressed me out. I had to cover it at night.

The staff was very nice and helped us with recommendations. They have a discount with a garage very nearby Only packaged breakfast. Communication was a bit difficult until the last minute.

As a solo female traveler I can only recommend this place

This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. The room matched the listing and it was bigger than what I expected, it had big windows in the room and in the bathroom that let in a lot of natural light. There's air conditioning that you can control, they provide bottled water everyday, and even gave us bread, biscuits, and spreads on our first day. The room also had cabinets and a fridge, and bathroom had the European bidet. The location was really good because it was 5 minutes away from Santa Maria Novella Station and 10 minutes away from the Duomo. They staff are very kind and they gave us clear instructions on how to do the self check in. They also let us leave our luggages after check out. None really, except maybe the mirror and shower was too high (for a small woman like me)

Loved the cleanliness, ability to communicate with staff, secure entrance with visible cameras everywhere, walking distance to a variety of places to eat, drink, shop and sightsee including the train station. My only concern were 2 males hanging out in front of the doorway entrance/exit each night that were not staying at Locanda di Moscondi.

Location was good for this trip. Patio area could be a little more user friendly.

The hosts were available when needed. I liked that there was a kettle in the room for tea! Its was a charming stay. Please post wifi code ... maybe in tea/coffee room? Grazie di tutto !

We had a problem with hot water, but it got resolved in the same morning.

Great location, clean facility and kind staff

The location, the value, and efficiency working with the host at the property for both check-in and check-out.

I didn’t really enjoy the check in process, wifi was not good and the room could have been cleaner (old soap left in shower etc.)

Just wanted to share that my stay was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect—close to all the famous spots but not crazy expensive. Plus, they had everything I needed, from cozy bathrobes to tasty snacks. Seriously, it made the whole experience so much better! I really enjoyed my stay overall. The only thing was that since I take diuretic medicine, having the bathroom a bit far from the bedroom was somewhat inconvenient. But honestly, it wasn’t a big deal.

No soap, no fresh smell in the room, insisting on giving my credit card details while not necessary

Convenience. Location. Susanna (check-in), a helpful assistant to access keys( I inserted #s backwards) & Johnathon (check-out) both extremely helpful. The 2 concerns were addressed immediately. -so nothing!

The kindness and professionalism of the staff.

Walking distance from train station, close to Central Market, San Lorenzo church, Medici Chapel and not a far walk to other main sights. Adorable fairly new rooms. Very nice staff. Typical Italian breakfast.
