Basically, it’s not correct that hotel has parking place. First we tried to reach to the hotel by car in very crowded streets. But it was not possible. Then they direct us to a parking place which we paid 45€ per day. That wasn’t mentioned anywhere and it is a pitty that hotel seemed when we filter the hotel which has parking place. Hotel is next to a bazaar and very loud starting from 6 am

Wonderful location, breakfast had vast options and coffee service to table. Room was pristine and space was historic.

Booked the very cute "sun" room. Enjoyed the eclectic decor (and comfy chaise lounge) in my room and throughout the property. Many sitting areas uniquely decorated with love. Location tucked away off a busy area near leather market - interesting to watch from above. Not "fancy", just a fun find! 10 AM checkout was a bit early but was able to hang out in lobby area to complete phone calls and emails before heading out.

Its location is great _ very central ! Also the hotel is a real art gallery, there are great art pieces in everywhere , it's full of art :) The room was cool, we love it. It's very close to Odeon Historical Cinema, art museums and town squares. Nothing everything was perfect.

Location perfect. We did not have breakfast since our excursions started very early Four flights of stairs to get to room.

The room and hotel is unique and beautiful designed .. the room nice and comfortable The heating system works only 5 hours and it was really cold at night.. there was no hot water for having shower ..

Breakfast was very good. Location was good - we walked everywhere…every site was a 30 minute walk from the hotel. An elevator would have been nice, especially for getting the suitcase to and from the room, but the manager did help us. Not having an elevator

Location: Middle of everything in old Firenze, amazing. Great big suite, soaking bathtub, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, clean facility, polite staff, convenient baggage storage room, beautiful decor and artwork in the hotel, 24/7 coffee bar in common area. One HUGE negative: Our Suite Number 9 was directly above the street-level. Below this suite are two late-night places of business: Nosh and the Old Red Stove (or some-such name) a busy Irish Pub with outdoor tent seating and with loud music in the pub. The noise level experienced in Suite number 9 was not tolerable and inexcusable for the price paid for this suite. There was also a tremendous noise and disturbance early in the morning, 6:30 to 8:30 am on Friday November 14th, from a beer delivery service to the Irish Pub: A lot of clanging of metal beer kegs being loaded in and out and dropped into the truck parked right next to the pub, workers yelling----- and right below Suite number 9. Could the delivery not take place after 9 or 10 am? The pub does not open until late afternoon. 1) First night in the suite was Thusday November 13th. There were customers, mostly Anglos and very young (underage?) of these two establishments yelling and screaming continously in the street until 1 to 1:30 am. Can Porcellino negotiate with these proprietors to reign in the street noise? Can the police in Florence not regulate open drinking and yelling in the street after 10 pm? After midnight? 2) Second and final night in the suite was Friday, November 14th. These was less street noise from customers late at night after midnight, but the Irish Pub played loud music continously until 1:30 am or later. Can Porcellino negotitate with this estabishment to turn the music down after midnight? If not, do not charge so much for Suite number 9. My feeling is that the price was 33% too high given the conditions outside and below Suite number 9. We probably will not return to this hotel, despite its obvious charms.

Amazing property and location. Tucked away above the marketplace.

Everything was fantastic succeeded my expectations. Had a great time just for one night. I have to come back with my wife.

Comfort
-
Location was wonderful. Never had breakfast as it was served too late. Bed was not comfortable and the bathbub in the middle of the room without a sufficient shower curtain was less than satisfactory.
-
Unwanted entry into room for cleaning after informing staff we did not want our room cleaned for the day, woman who greeted us was extremely unfriendly. Noise was very loud even with a “noise curtain” that did nothing. Wouldn’t stay here again

One morning it was a little noisy outside with vendors setting up, but it wasn't too early and it wasn't too loud.

No elevator

Unique nice furnishings, tea, coffee, comfortable bed and pillows. The location is directly across the street from the leather market which is fun in the day BUT those carts are taken away around 6 to 7 pm and then brought back at 3:30 AM and the set up last until the market opens. In addition there were 3 or 4 musicians playing loud music in the plaza from about 7 pm until midnight.

Location, rooms and common areas. Our laundry was partially lost. Could use better lighting for reading in bed.

The location was amazing within the historic center of Florence. Every cultural museum/sight was within walking distance. The decor is definitely different—kind of artsy so no Italian frescos on the walls. It’s clean & comfortable. Breakfast is very European & lovely. Staff was helpful and assisted in arranging a taxi for us to get to the airport. It’s without a lift so you walk 4 flights of stairs; definitely not fun with luggage. It’s right next to the Mercato Nuovo which means lots of noise from crowds of tourists during the day & lots of loud young adults to the wee hours (Irish Pub is right there). BUT location is worth it!!
