Roberto was great, very helpful. Location was great everything was walkable. Shower size, it was very small, but I guess it’s what we expected.

This family run hotel is a good value in a great neighborhood near Central Market and cute restaurants. The building is putting in an elevator which will be convenient. Communication was easy and the folks running the hotel are lovely. This hotel is good for one night. Although the other guests were very conscientious, sound carries in the hotel and the rooms feel close together. It felt less private than most hotels we stay in.

I have no complaints. This is a great place to stay.

Elevator was being installed, would have been nice to have and will be there for future guests.

The space is lovely and simple and our room was larger than we had imagined. Our hosts were kind and helpful; they handled our luggage on the staircase as the elevator was being repaired. The hotel was only a few blocks away from the train station and is far enough away from the buzzy center of Florence (making it a very peaceful stay). I would definitely stay here again.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Perfectly nice room, decently comfortable beds. Relatively easy walk to the local sites. Not the easiest place to find, I could see the street getting noisy on weekends, though we did not have a problem on our Wed night stay.

Very clean. Very safe. Excellent location- easy walk with luggage from the train station. The hosts, Paola and her son, were very helpful.

We really enjoyed out stay at Bencidormi. We spent most of out time out exploring Florence, but our room was a cheerful, comfortable and quiet retreat when we were ready to relax. Also, this hotel had one of the most comfortable beds we experienced in Italy (a trip of three weeks in 10 different hotels). We were there over Easter weekend and they left us a very sweet basket of chocolate easter eggs -- a lovely, personal touch.

This hotel is amazing! The reason is due to the staff. I didn't book enough ahead time for the special Fra Angelico exhibition ( the reason I made this international trip). I wrote to the organization and it took them a week to reply. In the interim, I wrote to this hotel to inquire if they had information on obtaining a ticket. The hotel asked me the date and time I wanted to attend the exhibition. Upon my answer, they obtained the ticket for me. They didn't charge me extra. In this age of AI, this is a very personable experience. They staff truly extend the effort so that your experience is absolutely comfortable. I don't write reviews only because my time is so limited. This is the least I can do for Hotel Bencidormi. They also gave me excellent restaurant recommendations! I hope that when I post this review I can still get a room!

The locks work with a code, which I wasn't told right away. My bathroom was separate from the room, which was fine for one night, but overall it's not normal and it's inconvenient

Very clean rooms and owners were really helpful. Got lost one night and needed to call for directions. The owners talked me through how to get back. Also gave me directions for local attractions. I traveled solo and felt safe there. Lots of places to eat next to hotel. No cons

No chair in the room. Just the bed and s stool.

It was clean, comfortable and included everything we needed. It overlooked a wonderful street with restaurants. It was fun to open the window to see what was going on below but when the windows were closed the noise was completely blocked and could sleep well. Everything was good.

The room was nice with espresso and cookies, mini fridge, clean towels, soap and shampoo

The location was perfect. Right outside of the hotel were restaurants, gelato and gift stores. While it was a busy location, the room was quiet and serene. The hosts were very helpful and available.

Proximity to the center, good food options, near transit.

The staff! The gentleman who checked us in was phenomenal. He was polite, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience. We’ll definitely rent here when we return.
