Hotel Paris

Close to Santa Maria del Fiore Smallest room I ever had in a hotel. Scrambled eggs at breakfast tasted terrible.

The Hotel Paris is the ideal place to stay on a visit to Florence. The location is perfect; close to the Santa Maria Novella train station and all of the beautiful things travelers come to Florence to see. The Deluxe room was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed, and the hospitality of the staff was outstanding. Breakfast was filling, and the courtesy of having the breakfast area open throughout the day for a light drink or snack reflects the establishment's consideration for guests, that is already superior. We will definitely stay here again whenever we are in Florence! Nothing (other than the fact that we were not able to stay longer.)

What a lovely hotel that is near all the things we needed. Beautiful place and our room was a nice and cool. The elevator was an added bonus. We did not get to experience the breakfast due to early departure, but we’ve heard great things about it. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The ceiling in the breakfast room was amazing. The open breakfast room for coffee/tea throughout the day was a nice touch. The location was good unless you are arriving by car, then it is impossible to find! The hotel lacked doormen or porters. The elevator did not stop on a floor that didn’t then require stairs. There was no comfortable lounge area. The place needs a deep cleaning and upgrade, painting, grout, decorating. It did not feel like a luxury hotel.

A little bit the shower, was tight

Our only complaint with this (otherwise very good) hotel was with the breakfast room, and its lack of proper management/oversight. Several food items often ran out, and would not be re-stocked within a reasonable period of time or not at all - even when the "breakfast room staff guy" was informed of this ongoing problem IN ITALIAN (not in English).

The breakfast was nice. We liked our room and the ambiance of the whole hotel. This place is beautiful and has so much history that has been preserved. Excellent staff also. Very helpful. The view from our room wasn’t the best part of our hotel experience, but it was ok. I understand that you can request a room with a view. All in all we liked it very much and the location was fantastic. My husband and I could walk everywhere. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends. I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.

Staff were very flexible and polite, especially Vittorio and Etri. Excellent breakfast room and staff. Reasonably priced and the BEST location for visiting everything on foot. Parking was valet, as nothing else makes sense from this location. Very well organized and well-kept for an historic hotel. So happy they had timely laundry services. The beds are very hard on the back, but the room was clean and quiet. We moved from a second floor to fourth floor room after the first night. It was in much better shape and very quiet. Please request exactly what you are looking for. They are very accommodating.

I enjoyed having traditional American breakfast foods mixed with European tradition. Meats and cheeses and scrambled eggs! There was plenty to choose from!

It was clean and green. The staff were respectful and accommodating, and just plain wonderful. You could’ve had a shower caddy in the shower, which would’ve made it easier for me to use the products that I brought

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant also offered free drinks all day. The hotel's location is within walking distance of many famous attractions.

Not updated, stairs.

The location is perfect. Only a short walk from the train station and close enough to most of the places where I wanted to go. I don't really have any complaints. I would like to say how professional and gracious members of the staff were in all of my dealings with them.
