The hotel was charming, comfortable, and quiet! It was easy to find the area to check in as it’s right down the street from the hotel and the staff were very welcoming. The room was comfortable and had beautiful furniture, very boutique-like. There are only a few rooms which made it very quiet and calm in the corridor. Would recommend! N/A

Perfect location. Clean room, kind host and amazing 2 night stay. Loved Florence! I loved that it was spacious, very clean, had comfy beds and the room we had was HUGE! Also, it was so close to the train station, few minutes away, 10 -12 minutes maximum by foot. Couldn't recommend it more! Lots of amazing places to eat right outside your hotel. Stay local to eat it's the BEST food. The AC unit the temp light was very very very bright. Not sure, if that can be dimmed.

The only redeeming quality of this properties location This is genuinely one of the worst days I’ve had at a property in my entire life. First of all you have to go on a scavenger hunt to be able to check in. The air conditioner hardly works. The bed is the least comfortable and looks 30+ years old and was incredibly stained. We joked over our stay that the shower was dubbed the “mental fortitude shower” as the water would switch from freezing cold to boiling hot on a whim and was physically painful. Please also know that although this hotel claims to have Wi-Fi, there is a paper sign that states the Wi-Fi does not work. It appears to have been there for a while.

The location was great to get to the train station and tour buses. Also , close to many good restaurants and shops. The big market nearby is awesome. Not far from the museums, galleries and the Duomo. The WIFI , as well as, gaining access to our data was not accessible for most of our stay which was very frustrating.
-
Perfect location close to the Duomo, market place, walking distance to everything and plenty of great restaurants on the street. Owner was very nice. Noisy room as just above street and restaurants etc.
-
location. decor. a few more lights and disposable cups in bathroom would’ve been nice.

It’s just old. But, what do I expect? I went to Florence to see the museums and to visit.

The location was great, situated in an interesting vibrant neighbourhood, close to the train station and many restaurants and cafes. At the same time, once you closed the shutters in the air conditioned room it was quiet. The room was pretty, decorated in gold. I would not hesitate to stay at this place should I return to Florence. A bit difficult to reach the owner. It was very nice of the owner to allow me to leave my luggage in her home once I checked out of my room. At the same time, it was a bit stressful for me when I was waiting for the owner to arrive home in order to retrieve my luggage. She arrived later then the time we had arranged as she was convinced that I only needed 1/2 hr to arrive to the train station to catch my reserved train. She was right and I did make my train connection but at the same time found it stressful and panicked as I couldn't reach her and worried that I would miss my train.

We liked the location; close to everywhere. Also, we felt safe. We selected this location carefully, to be in a center of Florence and walking distance to the train station. There was a good music from the bar on a street accross from the window. We liked it...some people may need more quiet. We also liked the classic decor of the room. We wanted this way. It fits Florence, a historical city. Small problem with the communication...the owner does not speak English... we do not speak Italian :). It would be good to secure a translator. Florence is an international destination. English news channels on TV would be nice. We paid for TV, but did not have it. We travel around Europe and TV in hotels has many languages. Yes, this was not a hotel...but it would be nice. At the end... we liked the stay very much.

It was a great location! Close to the train station and the Duomo, it was super easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The bathrooms were more spacious than others during our Italy trip. The rooms were big and comfortable. The staff was so wonderful and friendly. They let us put our bags in our room before our tour. I liked everything. I wouldn't change a thing. Absolutely lovely!

Rooms were comfortable and at a really good location.

The AC is a bit loud.

Charming accommodation and excellent location. I was fine but for some visitors who don’t speak Italian or Spanish, they may find it a little challenging to check in. Lovely couple who run the hotel.
