Hotel Colonna

Location only. When we arrived, we were told that the elevator was broken, but no one informed us about it in advance. The air conditioning barely worked, making the room very uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also disappointing. the beds were not made every day, and the towels were old, heavily stained, and clearly worn out from overuse. Overall, I would recommend looking for another place to stay. There are many better options in the area that offer a much better experience.

The location are in the centre of piazza and walking distant to many cafe, bars, restaurants and shops. The Breakfast choice are really basic, typical 3 stars breakfast spread establishment. The room are decent and clean (which are important) There is no lift so if you with heavy luggage, be ready to carry it up some staircases. The main door close at night. You have to use the side door to exit and enter at night. No reception available after midnight, the breakfast choice can be a bit better. When we arrived the reception didn't tell us there have a garage to park guest car. The shower cubicles, if you are over 180cm tall you have to 'duck' .

Excellent location with unexpected parking space Hotel is located in the best Frascati location. Staff is absolutely friendly, professional and knowledgeable about their town and Castelli Romani. Rooms and breakfast are perfect.

nice staff old-fashioned hotel which unfortunately has not keep up with the current standard of hotels. Small sink with no storage, small closets, ridiculously small TV, not a closed shower so splashes of water outside, etc.

Superb

Everything worked as it should. Quick check-in and a clean spacious nicely decorated room. It was February and cold outside, but the room was well heated. A bit chilly in the bathroom, but still OK. Not my first stay here, everything as expected. The breakfast was a disappointment. It's underground and the wall paintings cannot make up for this. Selection very limited. Nothing warm except coffee. One type cheese, one type of meat. Clearly room for improvement. There are many cafes around the hotel with a much better offer.

The location, cleanness of the hotel were perfect! There was no iron available, and the rooms were a bit cold (to be considered for the travel during winter time)

The location is perfect in the heart of Frascati. Unbeatable. It is a good hotel, especially if you are travelling for work. My room had a desk which I always appreciate. It doesn't have a lift (but the staff is always happy to help with the luggage - thank you!). The ladies serving breakfast (at least the ones I met) don't speak English but make good cappuccino, so they are forgiven :-) The rooms could use a renovation soon.

The hotel is close to the central square, and breakfast has a nice ambiance. There was not too much noise outside the windows, so one could sleep well. The shower was extremely small and mould was growing in some corners. The door was in disrepair and needed a lot of coaxing to shut properly. There was no elevator.
