This is a super value property. Very, very cheap, so you get what you pay for. Great location right across from the beach. The room was actually very clean. Bed was comfortable. But it’s pretty rough around the edges. The door of our room kind of looked like someone has tried to break in at some point in the past. The lobby has a weird smell of mildew and chemicals. The pool had a cigarette butt floating around in it. However, it was great value and felt safe and clean.

This was a good hotel over all, the staff was good with keeping up with towels and cleaning the rooms, parking didn’t seem to be enough for the rooms that were there but was always able to park on the property. The air conditioning stayed up with the high heat and kept our room cool the whole stay with no issues.

This was a disgusting and dirty motel. Very run-down! The room was unswept, hair in the shower, the door lock was old and didn’t feel secure. Only one ice machine was available and was in a nasty outdated open areas on the first floor. The sheet on my bed had a pink stain!?!?! The bed was hard and the pillows flat and probably old!!! The shower floor looked disgusting-black stains! Use comet or some sort of bleach to clean. Had to ask for more towels and took them forever to deliver them. The only thing good was the ac which was nice and cold. This was a no frills motel which was fine but kept it clean!!!

Property was good (salt water can break down any surface) ideal location, walking distance from beach and good food! Staff was not pleasant and at times rude and neither of the two we dealt with smiled or had anything nice to say - customer service is a hard industry - I’m in it - so it means a great deal to me. I know we all have bad days , I do too, but both of them at the front desk were neither helpful nor friendly at all. So its hard to chalk it up to just a bad day for two different employees. I want to recommend but I won’t because of the customer service staff. I will find someplace else my next trip to Galveston!

I liked the staff they were great and helpful room was good but there were roaches in the room on the walls live and crawling. If not for that this place would be rated higher bc the employees were so helpful

Very old Hotel! Stained shower and sinks. Old furniture. Rusted knobs and handles and the didn’t even have my reservation when I got there. Was glad to even get a room. Don’t really recommend this place!

Way too loud and no view of the ocean in the room they put me in. But overall a good bargain if you want a clean room. Just luck trying to get some sleep

I stayed here for one night for a cruise I had the following day I was across the street from Galveston Beach and a short walk down to Bubba Gump Shrimp. Even though it was hot outside the wi d from the beach was really nice. I will definitely be back anytime I have a cruise in Galveston. Staff was polite.

AC worked great. Slept good. Comfortable beds .

The first thing I noticed was a flying cockroach in my room, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. The room door was extremely difficult to open. I had to repeatedly lift the doorknob up and down just to get inside. I eventually asked maintenance for assistance, and even the maintenance worker had to force the handle several times before it opened. When the door finally gave way, he almost fell into the room because of how stuck it was. The phone in the room also did not work. When I reported the issue to the front desk, I was told I would have to wait for the maintenance person to fix it. Unfortunately, no one ever came, and the problem was never resolved during my stay. The staff was rude and hostile throughout my visit. They repeatedly accused my ESA dog of barking, even though I was in the room for the entire duration of my stay. They also continued to question my paperwork and repeatedly asked, “Are you sure that’s an ESA dog?” Their behavior felt unprofessional and harassing rather than helpful. Another issue was the condition of the room. Whenever I turned off the air conditioner, the floors would become wet from the entrance all the way to the sink area and bathroom, creating a slippery and potentially dangerous hazard. At night, people were running through the property appearing intoxicated and banging on doors, making it difficult to sleep and creating an uncomfortable at

The air in the room was on full blast and everything in the room was wet. The floors, counter tops, furniture. Woke up the next morning to cockroaches roaming around. Also had to pay another deposit when we checked in. They said we would get it back when we checked out, but in reality it was 5 days. Definitely not worth the $ we spent. Also the pool is a joke it’s about the size of a parking spot. I’m sure it was a last minute decision. Only good thing was waking up to the ocean rt there. Next time I definitely won’t stay in the seawall!

The room smelled unpleasant, and the refrigerator was leaking. The leak was reported but no room change was provided, instead a towel was placed underneath the refrigerator to absorb the water from the leaking refrigerator. Unfortunately, we put our left over lunch in there and water from the freezer section leaked into the food. As for the floors, after talking with housekeeping, the housekeeper was kind enough to mop the floor and spray the room. This was not a good experience.

If you're in search of a bargain, this hotel is for you. It is reasonably priced, clean, and in a good location, especially for beach-goers. It is no-frills though, so if you're looking for extra amenities then you should go elsewhere.
