The room was a nice size. Extra pillow had no pillowcase and was stained. No extra sheets in room for pullout bed. When I asked, they questioned if I had already received some and gave me one flat sheet. No extra blanket or pillowcase. Coffee pot was in cabinet. There was no coffee in room. Empty body wash bottle in bathroom. No shampoo bottle at all. Breakfast is pitiful. Seems old. Not enough cups out. Nothing is refilled. Pool was dirty and green. Pool furniture falling apart, outdoor pool shower not working Rooms are not very well cleaned. Parking is $15 but you are not given a tag, saw people parking from beach. For free. Would not stay again.

The celings had water damage, front desk made us pay a $150 CASH deposit and did not get it back will never come back to this place.

The parking lot could really use repairs.

Room was nasty. Stains on bed sheets also turned inside out. Hair all over the beds and women's under clothing in restroom. Hopefully they honor a refund.

The room was mid although the pictures had it look better. I have nothing great to say about the hotel. Breakfast was terrible too and the waffle maker cooks the batter but inside was still raw. My child and I only ate cereal and left. The sink was stopped up the whole time, bathtub had pubes on the bottles…eeeyyuuucckkk Only thing that kept us from leaving was every hotel was booked or $700+ a night due to the world cup. The only great thing about it was the beach being across the street and that made my child happy. Overall, the place needs a lot of work.

Upon check in the staff were courteous. Getting to my room on the second floor I had to take the poorest maintained elevator (the only elevator), and upon entering into the room, it was nothing special. Appears clean but the floor was dirty, the running water in the sink and bath was yellow, and they almost refused to give me more towels before my husband insisted. Family of 4 was expected to use 2 bath towels. Definitely not worth the over $200 price tag for the night. Lots of other places with nicer amenities and better customer care. Do better Wyndham.

Breakfast is a joke. Payed about 200 Bugs for that experience (time of soccer world champion) Thank you, never again!

This property should be condemned. We paid over $500 for 2 nights and they charged $30 for parking. We did not have a comforter in the beds nor did the TV work and the toilet didn’t flush. I kindly told these issues to the front desk and they did nothing to fix them. This was awful for a hotel to be located on the strand. Galveston must do better. I will never recommend this property to anyone.

Do not book with this Hotel!!!!!!!! We got to the hotel 30min early after driving 5 hours. I was told our room was not ready yet so my kids and I decided to run to Target for some things we knew we needed. We arrived back 30min after check-in, received our key and were in the process of unloading. Other guests were cooking food in their room and the smell was horrible! My daughter went and opened the room and came back out and told me I needed to go take a look as there was trash everywhere in the room from the last guests in the room. Upon walking up to the room to have a look I passed a kitty litter box outside the rooms with cat feces in it. I walked in to the room to find all of the trashcans in the room full of food trash, water bottles out on the desks and plastic silverware on the floor. The beds were half made up and looked like people had slept in the top of the half made beds after. I had my kids repack the car and I returned to the front desk, I asked for a refund as I was not happy that I was told my room wasn’t ready when I got there ( understandably as I was 30min early) but it was far from being ready when they gave me the key. The front desk assistant tried to give me the room next door- to which I said “I just want a refund- I will go somewhere else!”

STAY LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. DO NOT STAY HERE. I wouldn’t even call it a “bargain hotel”, it wasn’t worth $200/night, I wouldn’t even pay $50 to stay here. They charged an extra $15/night for parking in a crappy lot with potholes without disclosing that fee anywhere on their website and third party rental advertisements, and after I arrived, I was given a key to a room that was already occupied. I opened the door to someone else’s suitcase and belongings strewn all over the floor, and when I told the worker at the front desk what had happened, he just laughed and gave an insincere apology before giving me a key to a different room. I could go on about the poor quality of the rooms and amenities, but here are a few that quickly come to mind: The rooms are motel style which was not advertised, the pool was cloudy green and unusable, the only breakfast options were (without exaggeration) white bread, dry cereal, and a singular waffle maker. My room’s refrigerator barely worked, one light in the room was out, the closet and comforter inside it smelled like mold, the floors were dirty, and the air conditioning didn’t work well either. Other units I walked past had leaking AC, rusty doorframes, and the whole place was generally terrible quality. I never leave reviews but wanted to make sure others don’t make the same mistake as I did and have to go through the same horrible experience staying at this hotel. PLEASE spend the extra money to stay anywhere nicer.

When I pulled back the sheet on one of the beds there was a dirty spot right in the middle of the bed. We had to get the blankets out of the closet because they weren’t on the bed, one of the blankets were molded. My husband said it felt like something was biting him all night, and to top it all off the hair dryer caught on fire. We told the guy when we were checking out but it didn’t seem like he spoke much English. I do not recommend staying here.

Dirty ghetto and over priced, a room here should be no more than $50 worst maintained room I have ever stayed in cigarette burns everywhere, dirty sheets, dirty towels, holes in the walls
-
Very dirty room. The old sheets from previous person was piled up on the floor. No soap to use after using the sink. There is leak mark in both bathroom and bed room. The bed room are have black mold.
-
Room was ok beds dated. Pool was nasty guess you get what you paid for. Was across the street from beach so that was great.

Room had a leak in the ceiling and water all over the floor. I asked to be moved to another room in the same floor but said there was no other rooms available in the same floor due to other rooms in the same condition. So they moved me to another room on different floor. Room was ok , glad only staying 1 night. The ice machine was not working properly so they said use the one in the lobby which was a portable ice maker. Never will stay here aging
