Staff, price Very old place/building, the single bed was uncomfortable, the area around is full of dodgy people.

Good value hotel, located close to the station. Clean, comfortable room with clean bath-room. Lots of shops close by, including the ones at the station, where there were lots of eating places. Gent on reception very polite and helpful. Heating worked well. The area is not salubrious - many unpleasant characters going around. The part of the hotel I was in was next door to the main one and there was no reception in it, which could be a security risk. The carpet there had seen better days. The hotel was noisy at times during the night. Pity there wasn't a kettle and some coffee in the room.

Close to city center and transport. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Very poor room, practically nothing but a bed... and the zone is dangerous, you better don't go out after 6pm.

There were some hairs on the pillows from the previous tenant, probably. At night, there is lots of sound outside the room from other tenants.

Location They gave my room to others hours before my arrival without informing.

1. It was a 10-minute walk from the central train and bus station. 2. They will offer free drinks to compensate for the inconvenience they caused. 1. The hotel is situated in the dodgy area of the city. 2. Extremely dishonest personnel. They tried to cancel my reservation A DAY BEFORE of the booking due to a water pipe issue. I said unless they find a new hotel for us on their expense, they can’t simply cancel my reservation (reiterating that I’m travelling with a child). When we did not agree with their presented alternative (a hotel an hour away from their location), they gave us the room which we originally paid and reserved and as expected, there was no water pipe issue. They simply overbooked and tried to burden us with their incompetency. 3. They did room service and left a cockroach in the bathroom. 4. Impossible to sleep in their rooms with no air condition in the year 2024 (not even sound proof walls), which means you have to sleep with open windows in the summer. The location is right across a main street so the ambulance and cars passing by will wake you up at night. Not to mention the loud chatting passer-bys (drunk and not). 5. No elevator. You have to carry your luggage. Good luck if your room is on the 3rd/4th floor.
