We spent 2 nights there. We got the room on ground floor. It was nice room, feeling like guest room in friend's house. Bed room is not big but we got everthong we need, and the bathroom is charming with bathub.

breakfast was good I had no hot water for 2 out of the 3 days of my stay so not able to shower as water was cold

Great location, great building, comfortable room, clean Code to enter hotel was shared after calling a phonenumber displayed at the door. Unfortunately I couldnt reach anyone but was called a few minutes after leaving a message on the machine. After that everything went very well

I booked this room in the last minute. This was in mid July and a lot of the hotels in Hamburg were fully booked and I think the room I got had just been cancelled by someone else. Since this was a last minute booking during a busy season the room WAY exceeded my expectations. The woman who ran the hotel was really sweet, nice and helpful. The room had a modern design, was very clean and tidy with nice bed and blankets, a nice big bathtub and even a small terrace in the back yard. Location was also 10 out of 10, very close to the Schanzenviertel. Would recommend this hotel to everyone travelling to Hamburg!!!:-D

Perfect accommodation for anyone on a Hamburg city break - located in a very beautiful part of the city, lovely tree lined streets with many bars, cafes, and interesting shops. The city centre is just a short trip away on the S-bahn or U-bahn, which go every 5-10 mins from nearby Christuskirche/Schlump stations. This also makes Schlaflounge very easy to get to from the airport or Hbf station. Nice fresh modern rooms and the option of breakfast in the morning, which I didn't take but looked very nice. Recht herzlichen Dank Kathrin and team for your hospitality, I felt very welcome and look forward to staying again during my next visit! The showerhead in the bathroom was a bit loose but this will presumably be fixed in time. Otherwise no complaints.

Excellent hostess, very friendly and willing to help. We had an accident and my wife spilled coffee in her clothes. The Hostess offered to clean the clothes in her washing machine and this was very kind of her. Room in ground floor. There was a bit of dust in some places inside the room.

WiFi was quite poor. At least in my room.

It was clean and well maintained. Nothing as such. The stairways were a little dark that’s all.

It’s a very nice place and very comfortable. In a residential area with a lot of restaurants and stores nearby. It doesn’t really have a front desk so you do have to let them know when you expect to arrive. Sometimes things are delayed on trips so I don’t like to promise a time but that’s an issue with me more than the hotel.

The room was very clean. I very much liked spacious bathroom and the interior design of the room. The hotel is located in a nice area, just a few minutes from the lively but not too busy neighbourhood full of nice local shops, cafes and restaurants. The city center and the central train station are easily reachable by metro, takes approximately 20 min. The walls of the room are extremely thin, and my room was on the ground level, near the reception and dining room, and i heard everything from those areas. I think a part of sounds were travelling through the gap between the door and the floor. Hearing that noise was very unpleasant. Wifi didn't work at all, it's great I could use my mobile data. It would have been nice if room was equipped with a water kettle, cup/glass.

Great location (schanzenviertel), very friendly owner, parking across the hotel (€10,- per day), lots of restaurants close by, beautiful room, close to public transport. Schanzenpark and Bomen un Planzen in walking distance. We didn’t get breakfast at the accommodation but it smelled really good. Would have liked an opportunity to make coffee/tea in the room. There are good noice cancelling windows in the room, but when it is warm outside I like to get some cool / fresh air and we’ve noticed that the sounds from the street (neighbours, restaurant) can be a bit noisy.
