Room was pretty clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Location wasn’t the greatest but other than that, it was a nice stay.

Good stay for a business trip (solo female traveled). Clean and modern property. Included parking. Free wifi. Room was clean and comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Hot breakfast options. Front desk staff allowed me to check in early with no issues. Everyone was friendly. No complaints!

Room had an awful smell. Room 204

This is a good, middle of the road hotel. I got excellent value and a comfortable stay. It's what you need when you're on the road for work. But internet access when you're at the end of the hallway is limited or non-existent. That's my only down check for the stay.

The property looked fine but the rooms smelled musty. The 1st room I was given smelled like wet dog and flared my allergies. They kindly offered to move me and the next room was better but still musty. I will try another hotel next time - breathing is good.
-
Nice hotel. The employees were helpful, breakfast standard. The wifi did not work well in the room.

Staff was attentive and helpful.

I enjoy my stay but it wasn’t the best kept property but the staff were a good help

Everything was clean and smelt good. Customer service was excellent. The young man that work breakfast was a beast. He kept everything filled up and clean with a large crowd. He even helped some of the women who didn’t know what they were doing. He was very patient and gentle with the ladies.

The room was clean, staff were all polite, kind, willing to help me. Parking is easy to access. One big severe storm hit the area while staying. No flooding. No fruits except apples for breakfast.

Great all the way around.

The elevator was a little noisy. Which could make you feel a little uncomfortable, but we never had a problem. Great service.

We stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites on Hardy Chase Road in Hampton Virginia stay was June 13-14, 2026. Check in was fast no complications. Leonard at front desk excelled in his role. He was courteous, proud of his work and the hotel. He shows a desire to make your stay the best he can and has great customer service skills and more. Thank you Sir. The lobby has a relaxing appeal. Halls ,elevators and outside area were always kept clean. All staff we encountered shows passion for their role at making your stay pleasant. We stayed in room 228. Upon entering room appeared clean but there was an overpowering musty moldy - very unpleasant smell. We turn air up to see if this would help . Carpet in room needs to be changed. Bathroom was stocked with essentials . Tub/shower had broken moldy caulking. Toilet very small and low to the ground for me. Bathroom can use renovation and a better ventilation system. Water pressure good. We were in room an hour or less due to scheduled event and returned after 12am.Halls, public areas clean . No noise in hallway. Room remain with unpleasant odor. At this point we did not feel like requesting another room. Smell lingered throughout room all night . It made us feel uncomfortable . Bed was comfortable, but low to the ground for me. Breakfast area offers a variety of items. Food was ok.Area was quiet ,relaxing and clean. We had other family members stay 1-2 nights. No complaints only one other couple mention moldy odor in their room.

My stay was good. Thanks
-
The air conditioner was quite noisy and the smoke detector either needs replacement or has battery issues in room 115.

Clean room. I didn't interact much with the staff, except that I had to leave a day early since I had a family emergency and I booked through Expedia a third-party vendor. I wasn't able to get a refund.

Secondly, about Jay Sosa, he was a pleasantly man until Saturday afternoon of my stay...again arrived with my family on Thursday. My son arrives at the hotel promptly at 2:15pm with my nephew when they was greeted by Jay Sosa. He says " hey youngings what room are you in"..my son proceeded to walk without a word because who addresses any guest as such and your the suppose to be the manager..my son then proceeded to use his hotel key to enter the room to get change where again Jay Sosa stopped him along with Staff to insist on him identifying himself saying "its a safety thing we have to do" long story short cops was later called on the property because Jay Sosa begin yelling and screaming at my son and might i add he smelled of alcohol...the 2 lovely officer who responded simply said call corporate, Jay admitted to unprofessionalism but smelled of alcohol his was glossy.
