Great breakfast, eggs and small pancakes made to order plus everything else displayed. Staff awesome, took time to explain everything and so helpful. Location perfect, short walk to everything. Most streets very hard to walk on as all sidewalks blocked by hundreds of scooters and mini food activities.

Location is amazing. Probably the best area to stay in Hanoi. I feel cheated. Hotel doesn’t look at all like on photos presented at booking.com. Additionally lobby was in renovation so you are basically living on a construction site full of dust. After entering site you are surrounded by scaffolding so I guess you need to be extra careful to not get anything dropped on your head. There was no information about this renovation when we made a booking. I wouldn’t book this hotel if I knew it. We didn’t want to move anywhere else as it was our last 2 nights in Vietnam and we just wanted to rest after long and intense travel so we decided to stay here. After seeing all this we asked for a discount for a second night but response was: „no, because manager will be unhappy”. I guess leadership satisfaction is more important here than customer satisfaction. Restaurant as well was completely different than on photos. It definitely requires renovation and cleaning. Toster was very dirty like not cleaned in the last 5 years. Bread was hard like a stone. We usually came for a breakfast around 9:00-9:30 so I guess few peaces of bread were just lying down there in a basket and drying since 6:30. Food was not tasty at all. We ended up eating only 2 fried eggs / omelette and few fruits. These were the only foods where nothing could go wrong. We stayed in 2 different rooms. One didn’t have window. Second room had window but it was premium room and we had to pay more for it. Walls very super thin. You are able to hear people breathing on the corridor or people talking in other rooms. Housekeeping did a lot of noise on the corridor since 8:00. It felt like there was a group of 10 ladies having party, talking very laudly, laughing, etc rather than housekeeping in 4 star hotel. SPA experience was good. I had a massage and hair oil therapy. I was happy with the service and I gave good rating and tip for it but facility requires improvement.

Good location and central. To be sold a SIM card and advised it was for a month for it only to be a weeks worth of data. Expensive purchase for a 3 day stay. Nothing worse than being scammed by your hotel.

The hotel offers a good location. In the old town but still in a quite area. Our room was a room with windows to the corridor and for similar price probably it is possible to find a better option. Also we tried to book a tour with the hotel staff, that assure us that will take care of it but they never did it... We end up to book the tour by ourselves but we had to do it in a rush...

Service attitude and soundproofing effectiveness. The hairdryer easily overheats and stops functioning, causing long-haired women unable to dry their hair.The room rate does not correspond to the hardware facilities provided.

The staff is amazing, on reception you can expect kindness and warm all the time. Eira even gifted us Vietnamese snacks before going to the airport on a super late night when all was closed and our opportunities to have dinner were 0. Every night they put chocolate coins and good wishes for the day. Really, what an amazing staff. Congrats, it is the gem of the hotel.

My friend and I got the Executive Twin room which was much bigger than expected! There was a lovely chair and table to sit and journal in the morning. We also had a window that opened to the street view but it was not a problem, we are in the Old Quarter which is bustling with activity, so we expected it to be noisy. The location was perfect! Henry at front desk told us about some great areas to go see and then the Trainee Eira was amazing! She was so friendly, helpful and such a joy to have conversations with! She even spoke to us in Chinese when she realized that we live in China! Breakfast was extremely filling. There was a big spread and many options of fruits to choose from and there was an a la carte menu to make more selections if desired. Really no complaints about the breakfast! Nothing much, the carpet in the hallway could do with a shampoo to spruce up the place, perhaps the only thing that I would complain about, but everything was lovely.

The hotel was aged: bathroom tile need re-grouting and some grout were black. Overall, the hotel is dirty. Never has a hotel gone over in detail what I would be charged if I "stained" sheets, towels, etc.; I was thoroughly insulted by this discussion

The location is really good. There are supermarket, 24/7 stores, cafe, pizza, local restaurant, clothes, souvenir store, Hoan Kiem lake .. etc all nearby. Their staffs are friendly and helpful. I hadn’t prepare for anything about Hanoi before arrival. While check in at their hotel, their staff have a list of things to do, places to go and a map for me, with some orientation as well. Each night while I came back to my room, there must be a little pouch hanging on the door knob. Inside the pouch was some chocolate and a note. The message on the note was heart warming stuff. Its all good and the price is right.
