Location wise I found extremely convenient and I walked to most places. When I needed to go further I used Grab and had no problems. Some people had commented about the noise and its definitely noisy as everyone described but I didn't have any issues falling asleep as I was probably exhausted from being out all day and from the heat. The hostel does offer earplugs to help but I personally didn't use them. I had an individual room which was comfortable, it had a full size bed, a desk, AC and hot water available for showering. The hot water was available all day long, I mention this as other places I had seen reviews mentioned that the hot water is only available in the morning. In this hostel it was available all the time. The room is old and could you use some refurbishing along with a good clean up. There were spider webs in some parts of the room, there were ants by the bathroom and by the desk. It didn't bother me too much but its good to point out as these are details you cannot really see in pictures.

Great location, Linn is a great host, extremely helpful and friendly. As mentioned in the other comments and as known before booking, there is noise from the walking street just beside. But was ok for us. Nothing negative

The lasy was super friendly, the location couldn’t be better if you want direct access to the most lively street in District one. For that price? Nothing. Yes, you hear the main street, but it doens’t go until dusk. I think untill 2 , 3 am? If you want total silence this is not the hotel for you.

As many other reviews have mentioned, the music from the Bui Vien street is quite loud. I recommend tiring yourself out from your activities so that you can sleep despite the noise lol

Breakfast was simple yet good. The room was honestly good, just that the location was not really ideal because it was a party street. We weren't aware it was. The bathroom was small, which was like a trigger for claustrophobia. Overall, the room was nice and clean. It was still a good room for the amount we paid for.

Really nice room in a very buzzy area. Everything was clean and Lily was lovely! Helped us with finding some great food spots. Would stay again. Bring some ear plugs because in the evening it gets pretty noisy. Also as suite case users we struggled a bit getting them up the stairs. But it was well worth the hassle!

Lily was very helpful and friendly. We did the cu chi tunnels through the hostel and it was great. We did rock up on a busy nightlife when 1st arriving and were slightly worried, but this hostel is surprisingly away from the noise and off the street.

After travelling South East Asia for the last 6 months, this is the first 10/10 we have given! Lily is so friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you. She gives lots of helpful advice and answers any questions you have. You can book tours to Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta through her, as well as laundry, which was done in less than a day. The location is very central and the room was great, with a very comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious and there is a big fridge full of drinks, which are cheaper than the 7-11. Although it is close to Bui Vien street and you can hear the bars at night… it was never loud enough to affect our sleep. We would 100% stay here again!

We really liked the woman who ran the place. Very sweet, generous and helpful. She made the breakfast every day. We stayed for 3 nights spending our last days in Vietnam there. The room was small and a little barren, and the bed wasn't so comfy. It was clean. The bathroom was separated from the room with a frosted glass wall, so you didn't have privacy, really.. Location was chosen because it is central and so it was a little noisy from the party street it is directly on. That stopped at some point in the night though. HOWEVER we did choose the location ourselves, we just didn't know exactly what it was like. And since we didn't come to party it wasn't a plus in itself. It's 15 minutes from Ben Thrang market, which we didn't enjoy. It's huge with many different shops, but they all sell the same. Bed was not so comfy.

The room was nice, and although we had read in many comments that it was noisy because of its location, our room was not noisy at all and we could sleep very well! Breakfast is included and Lily cooks it for you in the morning! The bathroom/shower was mouldy, should be renewed. Not much social atmosphere

Not suitable for family stay. The place is right in the middle of night life walking street

Staff (Lynn) was very helpful and friendly. It was close enough to the hussle, but far enough away the noise didn't disturb my sleep too much. Breakfast was very good... missed my English Breakfast Tea. Only down side was my room was right at the top (3rd floor). Did not forward to that after a day walking around the city. ?
