The room was really great too with our own private jacuzzi.

Near the beach, lovely room. The laundry service, but the hotel didn't charge us for it.

Very green, the jaquzzi in the room was a huge plus, the bathroom was large and comfortable. The bed was very good and it wasn't too far from a beach. The first property in Vietnam which was not sparkling clean. There were frogs everywhere, including in the kitchen on plates, which was unacceptable. They charged for everything, including the water. The staff didn't clean the room despite us asking for it.

Hai, the Manager, was always helpful with a big smile, if we needed an umbrella, directions, or a delicious coffee. The breakfast was amazing with delicious fruit choices. The bed was very comfortable and very hot water for great showers. We could also borrow bicycles for free!

The jacuzzi room is beautiful and worth it but the water is cold. It was raining so I could not use it. Bed and bedding amazing. Staff fabulous. Breakfast good. The jacuzzi could have heat. Spices and condiments available for breakfast.

Beautiful little hotel, full of plants and trees and carved wooden art. Owner Hai is the nicest and most helpful human being - he makes sure every guest has what they need. Delicious breakfast options. The rooms are clean and intelligently designed. We slept really well. Loved the location - off the beaten track, yet short walking distance to fantastic restaurants. A very small beach is 3 minutes walking distance away. The good beach is fairly close - Hai provides free bicycles. It’s easy to get Grab cars to get to other parts of Hoi An or Da Nang. We had the most wonderful time. It was perfect.

Angel Garden Villa is a true sanctuary — combining beautiful design, exceptional hospitality, and a perfect location just a five-minute walk to the beach and an easy bike ride into Hoi An. After many stays at hotels and homestays throughout Vietnam, this stands out as one of our most memorable, with thoughtful touches like complimentary bicycles, a peaceful pool setting, and a surprise birthday cake for my wife. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this is not simply a hotel but a deeply personal creation inspired by the owner’s vision and care. We arrived on Valentine’s Day and they surprised us with roses on the bed! The property feels like a private gallery, with tasteful artistic details throughout. The open-air lobby, lush and serene, surrounds a beautiful salt water swimming pool, while a gently winding koi pond outside each room — alive with brilliantly colored fish — creates a calming, almost meditative atmosphere. We especially loved lingering over the delicious complimentary breakfast and coffee by the pool each morning. The warmth and genuine kindness of the owner and staff elevate every moment, making guests feel truly welcomed. With its thoughtful design, peaceful ambiance, and outstanding service, Angel Garden Inn feels like a little piece of heaven in Hoi An — and we look forward to returning.

Great communication with the host, breakfast and coffee is amazing. They can help with transportation to main attractions in the area. Rooms are comfortable and the area was quiet. Easy cab ride to the ancient town. The host, Brian, really is fabulous and the decor of the garden and interior court is simply beautiful. Definitely recommend. I think there is no heat available in the AC unit, we were a bit cold when we arrived, but turns out the room was warm enough without for the night. Definitely not an issue if you are there in warmer months. Our stay was in February.

It is a bit outside of Hoi An, so always needed a grab into town.

We were excited about the private patio pool but it was not well cared for and too dirty and cold to swim in. The patio could have used some work. Also, the location was very far from anything.

One thing to note: the room has a lot of glass, so it might feel like there’s less privacy unless you keep the curtains closed. It wasn’t busy during my stay, so it still felt private and relaxing. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, very tasty! The staff were also very helpful and helped arrange a car for me to go to Da Nang train station. At night, there isn’t much to do around the area, but for me that was perfect since I wanted a quiet place to rest. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway.

Location a bit distant from the city, but close to the beach.

Accommodation is really nice, clean and in a quiet location. The beach is near. They offer bicycles that you can use to get to the beaches and the city, or you can simply order a grab. Staff is nice and helpful. We booked daily trip through them.

Great value, good location for getting to the ferry terminal to the islands. Close to beach as well. Staff were super nice. Room clean, well appointed, and the private pool was lovely!

Nice, beautifully decorated stay out of the city. The owner is very responsive and helpful with any request. The room with the pool was amazing. It had a lovely atmosphere, especially during the evening when the lights were more visible. The breakfast was a la carte, so no buffet breakfast, but it was still very good, everything was made fresh. Beach was about 200m away (although we haven't visited it) The bathroom with the toilet/shower was not the best design (no shower curtain or anything and to get to the toilet, you have to pass through the shower area), but it was not a big issue, just a minor inconvenience. The place is quite far from Hoi An, and the road can get very busy, traffic jams are not rare, so keep that in mind (but this is the price to pay if you don't want to stay in the city). No elevator (not an issue for us and also the host helped with some of out bags, but worth keeping in mind, if it's important for you)

The highlight of our stay was without a doubt the incredibly kind and helpful owner. From the moment we arrived, he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, offering great local tips and helping us with anything we needed — always with a warm smile. If every place had a host like this, traveling would be even more amazing. It really made a difference and added a personal touch that we’ll never forget. The accommodation itself was cozy and clean, and everything worked perfectly. We felt truly welcomed and cared for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a genuinely heartwarming experience.
