The position and history of the building is incredible. The decor of the room was a little average, and unfortunately we had scaffolding and building works going on. That was just bad luck. Decor

Great location, 100 meters from Golden Dachl

Excellent location for exploring old town Innsbruck. No car needed as you’re close to bus and tram lines. Absolutely superb restaurant in the hotel, plus a similarly good outdoor venue in front of the hotel. A small gripe, but the rooms could really use a nightlight so you could find the bathroom at night.

beautiful location and staff

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel is in a superb location right in the centre of the old town, in the pedestrianised zone surrounded by many restaurants. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Parking was in a public carpark 10 minutes walk away where the hotel gets a discount. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice, including the type of eggs we could have. We dined twice in the open air restaurant area at the front of the hotel during our 7 night stay and the food on both occasions was delicious. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was great in the heatwave we were experiencing during our visit. The hotel itself is very historic with an interesting history over a number of centuries. Nothing not to like. Just a tip for if you have a car and are staying for a few days and want to be able to come and go regularly. The cheapest option - better than the car park recommended by the hotel - is to use the multi-storey carpark at the Market abount 10 minutes walk from the hotel, (address Markthallen-Garage on Herzog-Siegmund-Ufer 5, 6020 Innsbruck). For a 7 day period they have a ticket costing €65.00. It enables you come and go as many times as you wish during the 7 day period. We did a lot of trips to high mountain passes, cable cars etc and to neighbouring towns like Seefeld and Kitsbuhl. So this car park was by far the cheapest.

Location. The property felt dated

The old character of the hotel. It was so very clean. It had an elevator and WI-FI. The beds were awesome and duvets were excellent. It was also great that our room had air conditioning.

The location of the hotel is central and ideally located. The staff were friendly and the history associated with the hotel is great. Although the hotel is old, the rooms have been upgraded, so it felt neat and clean. We expected a classic hotel experience and didn't quite get that. The rooms are quite small and we only had a view of the neighbouring building from one small window. There was no fridge, which would have come in handy for basics like milk. The cost seems a bit high for what you get.

Great location. AC works well.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The building was beautiful and the location was great. The carpet in the rooms was terrible. Breakfast staff was not great- we ordered eggs and they were never brought to us. When we asked about them- the staff just walked away.

This is the classic hotel on the square in Innsbruck. So much character and charm. The staff was super helpful. We needed to leave early in the morning and they helped us bring our car into the plaza to load up before working hours began at 9:00. The beds and pillow were very comfortable. Each room and floor has character in the furnishings and amenities.

Location and history of the hotel in the heart of old town. Na

The hotel was originally built in the 1300's and of course has undergone numerous rebuilding and renovations. Mozart stayed there. The room was spacious and I liked my view. The housekeeping staff was accommodating. The location is excellent. The front desk were not all that helpful. I was told the Nordette Cable car was open even though when I went out there it was closed because they were transitioning the cars from winter cars to summer cars. I do feel the front desk should have known this because it is a major tourist attraction in Innsbruck. When I mentioned to them my trip was in vain, they didn't acknowledge that this was something they should have known.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful, and the location is perfect. I liked everything.

Location, clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff.

The air conditioning is not able to switch up temperature. Caught a damn cold after hiking, when I mention this to staff when I leave, one irresponsible staff said I should call them to switch up for me. But I don't know if you just want to save money and don't do anything, or I can ask you to consume more power. This female staff is very good to switch responsiblities to customer. I Am in heave schedule, you should let me know when I check in. I can't wait in a queue for three hours to get your answer everytime.
