The location of the hotel was good. It is near the main bars and market of Kadikoy. That was the only good thing about the hotel. Very low value for money. Small room with paperthin walls.
-
Very low price with a nice location very near to the bars in Kadiköy. They only cleaned the room after we told the to do. We had booked two rooms for 2 people and one room for 3 people. The smallest one was the one for the three people which didn't make any sense at all. The other rooms were bigger and had a lot space left for additional bed. The showers of all rooms were not 100% functioning.

The location is convenient, 7-10 minutes walk from the subway and the ferry port. It seems to have been recently renovated, the bed is comfortable, the room is wide enough. A suitable place for those who will go back only to sleep, but not for people who are looking for rest and privacy. There are steep stairs before the elevator. There are many restaurants and bars nearby. The neighborhood is full of life even at night. The staff was friendly. There are no sockets and nightstands near the bed. The headboard is not securely attached and is pushing the light switch for the room and bathroom. There is a distance between the door of the room and the frame, so the noises, smells and light enter from the corridor. No soundproofing, conversations could be heard from neighboring rooms. We used earplugs and the noise didn't bother us at night. Although there were no smoking signs everywhere, there was a smell coming into the room from the corridor.

The place has a wonderful location. In the middle of Kadıköy, close to restaurants, cafes and bars. The ferry station is 10 min. walking distance. When we arrived, the room was clean and newly renovated. The receptionist was very welcoming and always helped us, when we asked for recommendations. Parking is close by and costs around 200 TL per day (May 2024). There was no cleaning service for the 4 nights we stayed. It is not acceptable to stay at a hotel and not have this service. I find it offensive to have to ask for toilet paper and to have our garbage removed. Another issue was that there are still renovations at the hotel. Also, the doors are really loud and no matter how hard we tried to close it quietly, it was absolutely not possible. You also hear the neighbours entering or leaving the room as it is your own door, which was rather startling at night.

The hotel is centrally located in Kadikoy and was a mix of convenience and challenges. While the location is ideal, close to the bazaar and shops, and the rooms are spacious with nice amenities like a smart TV and balcony, there were significant issues that need addressing. Initially, we were assigned to a room that was clearly not ready for guests, with exposed wiring and a lingering smoke odor, among other cleanliness issues. After raising our concerns, we were moved to a standard room, which was a marked improvement and demonstrated the inconsistency in room readiness. The hotel struggled with basic service efficiency. Internet connectivity was a major issue, frequently disconnecting, necessitating repeated calls to reception which suggested a possible deliberate disconnection. Additionally, the first day was met with a lack of hot water until after 8:30 AM due to maintenance schedules. Housekeeping services were minimal. The room was cleaned and towels were changed only once during our six-day stay, and only upon our request. Even when staff came to retrieve items like the iron, they did not tend to other needs such as clearing the waste basket or addressing the clogged bathroom drain, which remained a problem throughout our stay. Noise insulation was another concern, with sounds from neighboring rooms easily penetrating the thin walls. The kitchenette was under-equipped, furnished with just the basics, and the breakfast provided was very minimal, leading us to skip it after the initial trial. In summary, while the stay was manageable and the room itself was adequate with some positive features, the service inconsistencies and lack of attention to guest comfort highlighted areas in need of improvement.

nothing I recently had the unfortunate experience of booking a stay at Rubby hotel, and I cannot express how utterly disappointed and frustrated I am with their business practices. This hotel not only lacks integrity but also engages in what can only be described as shameless price gouging. Upon booking my initial reservation, I was pleased with the seemingly reasonable rate offered by rubby hotel. However, my optimism was short-lived when I decided to extend my stay and make a second reservation. To my dismay, the price for the second reservation was not only higher but had skyrocketed to an outrageous three times the original amount. The lack of consistency in pricing raises serious questions about the hotel's ethics and customer-centric approach. The whole experience felt like a bait-and-switch tactic designed to exploit guests who have already committed to a booking. It's disheartening to see a business take advantage of its customers in such a blatant manner. Moreover, attempting to discuss this issue with the hotel's customer service only added insult to injury. The staff appeared indifferent to my concerns, providing generic responses that offered no resolution or explanation for the exorbitant price increase. It's evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority for Rubby hotel, and their dismissive attitude towards legitimate grievances is nothing short of appalling. I strongly advise potential guests to steer clear of Rubby hotel. There are countless other establishments that value transparency, fairness, and customer loyalty. My experience with this hotel has left me with a bitter taste, and I can only hope that others will be spared from falling victim to their unethical and exploitative pricing practices. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment – choose a hotel that respects its guests and their hard-earned money.

Location was good. Was a newly refurbished hotel. Limited choices for the breakfast.
-
The hotel, surrounded by vibrant cafes and restaurants, delighted us with its perfect balance of convenience and tranquility, tucked away like a peaceful oasis despite being surrounded by lively establishments. The serene ambiance sets the stage for a truly relaxing stay, complemented by easy access to public transportation just steps away. However, what truly made us happy were the exceptional and unforgettable staff members. We extend our thanks to everyone

It was exactly the boutique hotel I was looking for. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the staff was very helpful

The location of the hotel is really nice. Its proximity to cafes and restaurants is great. Moreover, the hotel has a very quiet atmosphere. Being very close to public transportation is a big advantage. The rooms are extremely clean and tidy. Additionally, the breakfast was very tasty. We had a pleasant time. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it

Good location close to Kadikoy's attractions and public transport, responsive personnel even if we didn't understood each other from the first try, but this is a general problem in Istanbul The room was very noisy, you can hear everything that somebody else is talking or doing in another room from your floor, there is no soundproofing between rooms. The room was cleaned once in a week at our request after the shower door felt and broke when I closed it, I had to pay for it and since I received the price for the door right away I suppose it happens often (it's a very thin secured glass), the breakfast was the same each day, although it lost two of it's initial components over the week.
