This is a nightmare for anyone who has claustrophobia! the room is super tight, the entrance is super tight and the stairs are crazy spiral and not convenient at all if you have a bag! The actual nightmare is that the hostel is above a bar or a nightclub so you will never be able to sleep!! Uncomfortable stay in general!

Nothing

Nothing The rooms smelled like cheese, obviously had not been cleaned in weeks if not longer, just the bedsheets changed. There was a dirty sock underneath my bed where my pillow laid, along with a mass of dust and dirt. Windows near the bed were disgusting, locks on lockers didn’t work, bathrooms were hideous. I stayed here 3 years ago and it was great, not sure what happened.

I liked the helpful owner of this apartment.

The bathrooms were dirty, the air of the room was bad - the window could not be fully opened. The bedsheets were stained with blood.

The stairs, kind of hard to go upstairs with a suitcase!

This is one of my fav hostels in the city! Eventhough it can get super noisy during the weekend, due to the party street... If you avoid the weekend or put jn earplugs you can manage it. The beds in the female dorm are super comfy as the size of a double bed. And the facilities are always very clean. The communication with the host is always instant and smooth. Thank you very much. <3

Hostel and Room was locked with pin code 1. Hostel was located with the bars so all night till 2 am too much music sounds but its was not hostel fault but if someone want to stay there so they have to know that all night you listen music for free with full volune? 2. My Room is on 5 floor and too much stairs but due to cheap rate you have to compromise

Location is so perfect for travelers. And room was clean and comfortable. But this street was noisy. There’s a cafe nearby.

Location perfect

The location was lively and super convenient, with lots of shops, bars, restaurants, and public transport nearby. My bed and room were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and recently updated. The host was very quick to respond, the neighborhood felt safe, and the facilities felt secure overall. I also thought the value was excellent for the location and for such an updated, clean, and secure property. For clarification, there are 2 showers and 2 toilets on the 1st floor (men's bathroom), and the women's bathroom is on the opposite side. The beds near the windows don’t have a curtain on the window side of the bedframe, which makes it difficult to sleep past sunrise. There’s also loud music from nearby bars and clubs until around 2–3 AM most nights, so earplugs and an eye mask are highly recommended. The hot water runs out quickly, about five minutes, even when no one else is showering, so my roommates and I had to stagger our shower times. The bathrooms are located on the first floor, while the rooms are on the upper floors, and the staircases are narrow and steep, which can be challenging if you’re carrying luggage. My locker (Room 5, Bed/Locker 1) was very finicky and difficult to lock and unlock. The WiFi was quite slow, and I couldn’t host a Zoom meeting, though there are plenty of nearby cafés with stronger connections. Lastly, there was no towel on my bed when I arrived; the host responded quickly, but since they weren’t on-site, I had to wait until the next afternoon to receive one. Despite this, I would recommend this hostel for a shor,t affordable stay.

Location great. Dorm small but locker space good. Good A/C. Good showers (mostly). Staff lovely (when seen?). A clean hostel, thank you to the housekeeping. Beds comfy. Nice to have a kettle. Lots of great places to eat. Being picky as good hostel:- Steep spiral stairs. Can be noisy from loud music.

The location of the room wasn't bad. It was in walking distance of the Karakoy bridge which made it fairly easy to get around. Communication about the room was pretty straightforward and I was allowed to store my bags at the hostel for a week for free while traveling to other sites. There isn't anyone on site aside from cleaners that must show up to tidy but I never saw. No one checks you in in-person so if you have any issues the only way to communicate them is online. The room I stayed in was also quite small for being shared between 4 people.
