Excellent property, excellent staff and excellent breakfast

Staff were very kind, hospitable, helpful and nice. Breakfast was very good and a lot. Location was good but a little noisy. Right in front of tram and busy street. But for our access to the city, it was very convenient. In the heart of tourist area. I can’t say enough about the nice staff, Janan, Mitra , Sina and many others I unfortunately don’t know their names. 10/10 for staff. The overall experience was great mainly for the convenient location and the hotel staff, who were very accommodating and friendly. But please be aware of the following when booking: When making the reservation, there was no indication that the discounted Deluxe Rooms were located in an annex building rather than in the main hotel. The booking information did not include any photos of the annex property, which, despite having a very similar name (“Old Town” instead of “Old City”), is a completely different hotel located about 200 meters away. The annex was not comparable to the main hotel in terms of quality. It felt more like a one-star property and did not even have basic amenities such as a trash bin in the room. Guests staying there were required to walk to the main hotel every morning for breakfast, which was not feasible for my mother due to her back and knee problems. After a discussion and argument with the hotel owner, we were able to stay at the main hotel. I want to emphasize that the rest of the staff is very kind and helpful. The owner was very unpleasant. Thankfully, we did not see him again.

Room not up to cleanliness standards of a hotel. Had the clean sign activated yet on multiple occasions nothing was done. Lady attended and asked to which we said towels and toilet paper. Room only mopped once in 5 days. No sheet changes even with the light illuminated. Guests shouldn't have to request things. Beds were soft and mattresses could do with a decent vacuum to remove other people's hair etc. New pillows are needed as they are well worn. Breakfast was very ordinary and a huge step back from previous visit.

The bed was comfy and that was the only good thing about the room and the hitel is near the shopping center Ill be fair first of all my room had elec going on of every few minutes and the weather was hot so i had to wake up multiple times during the night to turn the air conditioning back on so i didnt sleep well and when they tried to fix it it took them 2 hours and failed then they switched me to another room where the temp could only be set to 24! Then wasted 2 more hrs fixing it .The staff is unprofessional and only blame each other on everything the breakfast was below average and didnt taste good at all the veggies were half way dead and totally unhygienic utensils to eat with needless to say the rooms are beaten up with bathroom sealing torn and falling due to water eating through it and the worst thing ever was 2 days no room service so i couldn't shower when i want and the room stayed dirty every 2 days to be cleaned once! And the room lighting was terrible very dim

Room preparation took longer as usual, almost was ready by 5 PM.

The reception staff where extremely helpful ! Best staff have ever experienced at any hotel of istanbul ! Highly recommended Hospitality of every single people working there !

Location was great- we reached all the attractions on foot as everything was in less than 1km radius (except for Istiklal str. but even that was not so far). Hotel has small swimming pool, steam room and spa - all was included in the room price and was free 45min/day. Room was ok, pretty big and spacious. Although big, room was on the last floor and sealings were somewhat low - i did hit my head hard few times. We stayed 4 nights and concluded that hotel is like a pitstop for lot of travelers as we did see/hear other visitor reaching hotel very late. This is quit inconvenient as sound isolation doesn't exist. Employees try to communicate but their English is 2/10, which is both strange and frustrating. Breakfast was terrible (reasons are unknown) but it got better from day to day (day 1 was 1/10 and last day was 7/10) - possible reason is we went in December and maybe it's not a season.

I initially liked the location, but I later regretted it. The hotel sits on an extremely crowded street with a tram passing every ten minutes until 1:00 AM, and starting again around 6 AM. It turned into a nightmare for me because I couldn’t get any proper sleep. You can hear absolutely everything happening around the room if someone uses the bathroom or even turns on the sink, it’s loud and clear. I could even hear people talking in the next room. The receptionist, who I’m not sure was a supervisor, was definitely rude. I ended up cutting my stay short; although I booked for six nights, I only managed to stay for three before moving to another hotel because the experience was genuinely disappointing. The room I was given was very basic, and the bathroom was far below my expectations the sink top was damaged and literally wrapped with tape. I initially chose this hotel thinking it was a 4 star property, as listed on Booking, but it’s absolutely not. I asked for a refund for at least two nights, but the staff refused, which I understand may be due to their policy, but it still added to my frustration.
