Excellent 5 star property with sooperb friendly staff Nothing

The staff was very bad .. not trained .. they don’t know how to deal with the customers.. our room AC was not working they were saying we can’t help.

The pictures online We had high hopes for this hotel, but unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Overall, the hotel felt chaotic, understaffed, and poorly managed. This was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience at all. Some key notes from our experience (there are more, but will avoid writing an essay): - The electricity went out multiple times, and during one of the outages, people got stuck in the elevator, quite unsafe. - The hotel in general was not clean and not maintained well in terms of renovation - Our bathroom had toilet water leaking onto the floor and there were ants (including urine ants) in the room and a large number out on the balcony. - The staff didn’t seem happy or welcoming – most appeared stressed and under pressure, though they tried their best. Bad management. - The food was poor quality and nothing to get excited about. - Restaurant staff were often on their phones while food was being served, very unhygienic - The restaurant was always overcrowded with insanely long lines during breakfast, lunch and dinner. It didn’t feel like a holiday – more like a mall during black friday. - Poolside service was terrible – we waited over 20 minutes several times, and one time, our order never arrived at all. - Hasir restaurant during lunch time is a joke. The food they serve here cannot be classified as food. I would rather stay home and enjoy my summer break than coming here.

All good for the age of the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel three times, the rooms need a good revamp, started to look very tired for a top 5 rated hotel.

I liked the whole experience, We had a couples spa and massage, the next day I had a facial, excellent time and money well spent, all the staff are so friendly and very attentive, we were given a lovely gift of champagne, special treats and a big bowl of fruit, on arrival as we came early we checked in and were offered breakfast and the use of all facilities until we could go to our room, cleaning every day and mini bar replenished every day fresh bedding too, pool towels available for pool or beach,there is pony riding for children at the beach with play area too, although we had 200 steps along the corridor from the elevator to the room we laughed so much about it ? I could say lots more and I would certainly recommend coming here. Sometimes food could be hotter I think maybe the a/c cooled it too quickly as the restaurant is massive, sorry I like my food hot.

The water park area for kids needs to be more variety compare to the huge pools.

Good facilities, clean. Good access to lots of lovely golf courses Repeat visit has gone down hill. Last year gave it 5/5 on everything! This year less staff, unhelpful/unhappy. Evening buffet, food not kept hot even if there soon after opening. Some Soft furnishings quite dirty.

We were a family with grown up children and grandchildren and the hotel offered something for everyone. Our arrival was not particularly welcoming and we all felt a bit flat with the reception from the staff. The breakfast buffet was ok but a bit samey after a couple of days. We ate in all the A-la carte restaurants which meant we had an additional £1,000 on top of the holiday price. We felt that the supplements should have been less expensive but these restaurants were superb with themed menus and decor. We particularly liked the Greek themed restaurant and the party atmosphere and dancing was great fun. Our chef Super at the Teppanyaki table was delightful and he made the experience more enjoyable. The golf on site was superb and the shuttle to and from the hotel to the golf club was efficient. We liked the restaurants by the beach for lunchtime. We found the little land train that went from the hotel to the beach area was efficient and continuous but somewhat frightening - the driver slowed down for no-one. There were plenty of sunbeds although the towel operation with a card system was chaotic and not effective. We liked the outdoor bar area, Jacaranda, with the lily pads, it was very pretty but the bar service was appalling! The staff particularly in the bar and other areas in all the restaurants looked overworked, there weren't enough of them and they were inefficient and grumpy. We felt that the supplements for the a la carte restaurants should have been less expensive. The towel operation with a card system was chaotic and not effective. The beach restaurants closed too early. There was no overlap in restaurants for our young grandchildren. Some closed at 5pm and then there was nothing open again until 6.30pm. We felt there should have been somewhere open between these times especially since the hotel is marketed as a family hotel. Many of the bar and waiting staff were overworked, there weren't enough of them and they were often inefficient and grumpy and rude. Our holiday was in May so goodness knows what they are like later on in the holiday season. The Jacaranda bar was a perfect place to sit with a drink about 6pm before heading in to get ready for dinner but the music didn't start until much later in the evening. We felt this was a real missed opportunity and we really would have liked to have the tunes from the DJ much earlier around 6pm. Lots of the hotel staff had no or very little spoken English - this often presented problems with ordering food and drinks.
