It is under renovation, therefore some areas are still in disrepair. My room was clean, but due to the renovation other areas were not. It’s a work in progress.

The room was wet the bed was wet the floor was wet, I almost slipped on the room floor due to the hallway floor being wet and the doorway floor was not carpeted. I could not enjoy the room I slept in and was so disappointed since I paid my hard earned money for!

Location to where I was working was ideal. Bed and comforter were excellent. No carpet, floor was sticky, chair and table were dust covered. Marijuana smell throughout the building, trash in the hall overnight

The breakfast was really GREAT. Love the omelet style eggs with cheese in it. Also loved the different choice to choose from and how the change up breakfast each day. Just didn't like the mix up and miscommunication between staff and customer At nights it was really hard to find someone to help you at the front desk. Other then that I appreciate what Kalamazoo Hotel is evolving into!!! Look at above message

It's way better since the renovation has started. Blow dryer didn't work.

Nothing The sheets, towels, bed all were stained. Room did not lock. Room was obviously not cleaned with large accumulation of dust.

The room was spotless and even smelled very clean. The staff- we met Rozer (Mack or M) and Velora- were friendly, very helpful, and kind to each guest. The bed was really comfortable- and I'm picky about mattresses. The hot breakfast was amazing! We had omelets and sausage along with the usual waffles. The breakfast area wasn't quite as clean as our room. To be fair, it seemed to get a lot of use.

We had to move to a different room because the toilet wasn't flushing. The first room had a hair dryer, the second did not. In the new room, the doorknob for the bathroom did not match the door jamb so the door didn't close. We overlooked these issues as they are under renovation.

We were told that the rooms had kitchenettes, which, in fact they did not, and then we paid for four days. My husband went into the room, seen that there was bugs turned around and walked out, went to the desk and asked for a refund and we were told no that was $500 that they took from us that they refuse to refund even after we told them to keep the money for the one night and a refund the remaining days they told us no.

The housekeeping staff needs some new people. The room I was given had barely been cleaned. I had to take it upon myself to vacuum the floors that were covered in small debris. I could tell the bedsheets hadn’t been washed thoroughly since they were last used. Upon checkout I was informed that my card had declined for an additional charge of 117, which doesn’t make sense due to the payment coming from my account through the booking app.

The staff were so helpful and genuine

nothing. The hotel room was filthy, the toilet was running and rust stained. There was no soap in the room, there was no drain plug in the sink. I'm fairy positive there was a large poop smear on the carpet in the center of the main room. The TV did not work. It was truly the most terrible stay I have ever had.

Woman at front counter refused to let me use bathroom and I've been door dashing for 14 hours
