There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, and the staff didn’t even bother to help. There was no housekeeping, and the room was dirty. Even after I informed them, nothing was done.

Raj and staff are wonderful and location is absolutely perfect to explore Thamel and Kathmandu. Second time staying at the Yak!

The owner is extremely friendly and professional. He guided me properly and was very helpful even before I arrived at the hotel. I booked a helicopter tour through them, and it was an amazing experience. Everything was well managed and smooth. Thank you, Flying Yak Kathmandu, for the great service! All things were good there is nothing like that

The room was really good. Clean and good bathroom. Good location just off the main road, so quieter than other spots. The lobby area was not very inviting. It could have offered a bit more for guests in terms of coffee or something. But the restaurant next door makes up for it.

value for money the toilet was dirty there s yellow stain on the toilet, and bathroom s floor was dirty too. i checked other guests s reviews that hve said bout it too. if you want to make tea or coffee have to ask the staff on the first floor for it, and the dorms in the fifth floor n no lift.

Really great staff and super kind, always asking if we needed something. The coffee served is amazing! We experienced two nights full of loud noises since it's really close to a club. On the second night we felt really unsafe, there was a bigger argument between people outside of the hotel and expanded to inside, reaching a point where we had two people screaming at our door step.

Super clean and comfortable, very accommodating staff and they allowed me to store my bags and use the facilities in the evening before my flight. Surprised this place isn’t fully booked more often

Had another wonderful stay at Flying Yak. It’s in a great location, the staff are extremely helpful and the rooms are clean and of good value. I’ll definitely be staying here again.
