Of course, the main advantage was the size. After spending a few nights in Tokyo and Osaka with tiny rooms, the size of the rooms in this hotel was a great relief. The room was huge! The bathroom was of considerable size, had a bath and a large shower area, and still had a lot of other space. There was no breakfast included in our package. The hotel did have a free coffee machine with a very nice coffee (we loved the Kilimanjaro). Fresco just 3 minutes away and several places to eat, too. Walking distance to several beautiful shrines, art museums and Kyoto zoo. Direct buses to pretty much any place in Kyoto. Can't think of any. Very well organised place.

Remember to ask for the room key so you can open by yourself and can leave and come back. Otherwise, there typical scenario is that the room is locked until you check out.

The room wasn't very clean

The room was sizeable. It had a bar fridge and microwave, and complimentary machine coffee at the entrance, reception staff were polite. The property is a love hotel, which I wasn’t aware of prior to booking. The property is very dated, worn, basic, and has been sprayed with a cheap deodorizer. There are a-lot of stained carpets and walls. I don’t feel the existing photos listed represent what it actually looks like. A big sign out the front shows the hourly rate. Bedroom doors are heavy and steel and have a red light above them when room is in use. Extensive mirrors are throughout the bedroom, furnishings are of poor quality. A naked woman is sketched on the bathroom tiled walls. I felt that it feels like a brothel and I believe love hotels do exist on a spectrum from accommodation for young couples wanting privacy to frequent use by prostitutes. Note that the last photo listed shows a BDSM feature in one of the rooms. The hot tub was damaged, as were many surfaces in the room, and in the hallways. I wouldn’t recommend it for young couples.

The hotel was a little bit outside of Kyoto but only a 10 minute walk from the subway in a beautiful quiet area with some lovely walks , we had a big room and a fantastic shower room and the bed was very comfortable, it offered very good value for money as the hotels in Tokyo city were very expensive Nothing

We read mixed reviews but this room was fantastic for us. Quick walk to bus stop and bit further to metro. Near the art museum and university. 7/11 just nearby. Fab big room. Great facilities. Microwave etc. Jacuzzi bath. Super quiet at night. Good heating. Lovely options for soft lighting. Dressing gowns. Loads of nice extras. We had a key to get in and out but the door is locked at night once you come in finally and reopened in the morning. Can’t fault it for the price.

Price and location. Smelled like cigarettes, seed filled pillows, no proper fridge, cold water on the toilet butt wash. Expected some sex furniture but got none.

It was ok with the charges. Beds were old and not very comfortable. The property was a little far from the center.

the room was spacious but dated update the massage chair. it was not working well.

Location is good. Room is very very big and spacious as well as the bathroom. It has a great sound system and is possible to smoke inside. Check in is at 5pm, if you need to check in early you need to pay an extra fee. The bed is big but it is not so comfortable.
