M’s Hotel Kyoto Station Kizuya

For a non smoking policy hotel the isolation in our case was terrible. At our first night the smell of smoke filled up the room (201) coming through ventilation system after MIDNIGHT. And when it was closed, the smoke came through the closed window.

THE SIZE OF THE BATHROOM. THE TUB WAS TOO DEEP FOR ME TO EASILY GET INTO WITH MY DISABILITIES WITH RAISING MY LEGS.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The was the staff so helpful and accommodating, and the room itself were clean, tidy and spacious. Its location close to Kyoto Station, numerous restaurants, the mall and local convenience stores truly made the experience in Kyoto amazing.

It’s clean and very good value One of the Front desk in the morning not helping and cannot speak English at all.

No clean Small Noise All was bad

It was on a quiet street not far from the station It wasn’t a problem for us but there are basic amenities. Only shampoo conditioner and soap, not all the other things like razors and toothpaste. It is a smaller hotel and so maybe that’s the custom for smaller places.

Stay very friendly, will try to help you out if you have problems. They always greeted me with a smile and said goodbye when I left. When I went to my next hotel in Osaka I missed the hello and goodbye I received in Kyoto. I wish I had a bigger trash can, and maybe an English Channel on tv but I am a foreign in a foreign land so that is on me not them. lol Oh nearest grocery store that isn’t a 7/11 or Lawson’s is 15 min walk. Just keep that in mind, I usually go to grocery store to save money on the trip and both my trips took a good 1 hour and half out of my trip.

Everything was on hand, easy to use, the place was also very centralized in the city

When my friends and I arrived the staff in the front were so friendly and helpful. She checked us in and was so patient with us. The location is great, quiet neighborhood, a 7-Eleven nearby, and a great spot for coffee. N/A

Friendly staff and perfect location. Also there is a 7/11 near to the property. Self check-in/check-out.

I love the room size. It’s very spacious Distance to the station is a bit of a walk.

The location is very convenient and wasn’t hard to find (I’ve gotten lost looking for lodging in Kyoto before). They use door codes instead of keys, which is one less thing to carry around and adds a little security for the main door. I appreciated that there was laundry onsite, but we were constantly in competition with the other guests to use it. I ended up walking to a laundromat 4 minutes away which had fabulous prices but was also extremely busy. It seems like something you just have to expect with how popular of a tourist location Kyoto is (and we were there in the “off season” of November). The hotel didn’t offer luggage shipping, but there was a Yamato a few minutes’ walk away that worked out fine - just be conscious of their hours.

Easy check in and out. Very clean..very modern..very close to 7-11, to.kyoto station, to yodobashi and bus stop. Cleaning was only every 3 days. But you can still request for fresh towels anytime.

Good value for money paid! Perfect location.

Convenient Laundry room was kinda gross

Location is close to the station and in an area with lots of restaurants. Room was big for Japanese standards: it included a table with 2 chairs. Very high value-for-money but I would suggest picking a location with more amenities if one plans to stay for more than one or two nights Staff is not around most of the times
