Hotel Excellence Kyoto Ekimae

the location is good, pretty close to Kyoto station, there is also a convenient store just outside of the hotel it will not be too easy to cross the road in front of it you carry a lot of luggage, either you need to walk up the bridge without elevator or walk a bit further to the next cross with traffic light.

Decent location. This is a business hotel. Most business hotels have small rooms, but this was so small, there was almost no place to stand and put on clothing. No unobtrusive place to put a suitcase.

Bed wasn't very comfortable.

Smelled like smoke while being non smoking. Also they almost forgot to give me back my passport after checkin

Very pleased to learn that they offer free breakfast which is a bonus. Room was clean and quiet. Room is very small. There is no space to move around inside the room. There is no kettle, sup, tea or coffee. They have a coffee machine in the breakfast lounge. Not sure if guests can use the coffee machine outside breakfast time.

The location is very convenient to Kyoto station.

Breakfast very poor and bad, Staff is not always attended at the desk. Vanity pieces are not enough - missing razor, head cap, no electric boil water kettle etc. Vending machine not maintenanced - a lot of empty signs of the drinking bottles, bread toaster not working. no check by the staffs. Pay more attention on all facility equipment.

Just 2 blocks from Kyoto Station makes it great to connect to trains and buses. Staff also helped me with a local phone call. Breakfast was white bread and DIY cup noodle.There were beverages 24/7. They won’t hold your luggage when you check out, but plenty of coin lockers at station.

Good Nothing

Breakfast was good but very basic. I stayed in Kyoto 3 nights and I stayed at your hotel chain three of the nights. At hotel excellence Kyoto Ekimae & another hotel excellence very near. For 1 of the nights I double booked two hotels in your hotel chain BY MISTAKE. Please give me a refund because it’s impossible for me to stay in both rooms in one night. Also the night that I double booked the hotel still had vacancy, so me booking the room that I didn’t use it didn’t cause any problems for any possible guests that may have wanted to stay in the room.

Good location away from kyoto station. Accessible mall and lawson or family mart. They always give you new fresh bathroom towels. They offer free breakfast and drinks. But do not expect much. It is only some bread (jam) and noodles (instant) The rooms is tight. The ac a bit dusty. The wifi on my phone keeps disconnecting. No place to keep clothes. (Should put a closet)

Excellent location within walking distance from the Kyoto station. Staff were lovely. The room was a good size and very comfortable as well. Great value for money. Would rebook if I came back to Kyoto.
