As an US military retiree staying at your hotel, overall excellent in almost every category cause we came to tour the Fushimi Inari Shrine & Mt. Inari!!! If we come back again, we would no doubt choose your hotel thru booking.com!!! Thank you!!! Excellent stay overall, except there could have been a microwave in the room since we have stayed in numerous hotels that had them touring Japan!!! Only other exception was the Runny Eggs at a breakfast buffet!!! Our tastes were scrambled eggs fully cooked with no liquid!!!

The location of the property is not too far of a walking distance from Kyoto station and the hotel is conveniently next to the bus stop. The property had great continental breakfast!

The rooms were great! Super spacious compared to other Japan hotels I've experienced. The breakfast was delicious. The location is convenient for a lot of transport to get around the city easily.

The room was very comfortable, spacious enough, we rested very well on these beds, everything was very clean with fresh towels provided daily, cleaning done daily. Maybe someone from the staff wasn't on their best night and my expectations were still high coming from Takayama where people were a lot warmer. Or maybe it's just a Kyoto thing, but it's understandable.

It's such a nice hotel and the room that we stayed in was compact, cute, very cosy and lovely. The bed was very comfy and enjoyable and exactly what we needed after 30k steps daily, gained from exploring the city ':D . The staff were very polite, helpful and kind. Must not forget the shampoo which was the best one I've tried in a long time! You should get up early in case you want to avoid the crowds in the city, yet sometimes you just want to sleep a bit longer but not miss the breakfast, so maaaybe if the breakfast time was up to let's say 10, or 11 am instead of 09:30 it would be better. But that's not a big deal, we managed to get up on time and enjoyed it anyways =)

Room on 10th floor facing main road is wonderful and very big. In reception free coffee, tea and lemonade all day long. Plus laundromat in hotel. Breakfast is very very very bad. Continental and Japnese choices are of poor quality. I would never take room here with breakfast. It's the worst in all my three trips to Japan.

Modest but very good hotel in Kyoto. The room was good, breakfast was fine. Good area to be in, we walked from the train station but navigating Kyoto by city bus from the hotel was easy.
