Decor was very Japanese in a new and modern way. Very spacious room. They used high quality materials to build and furnish this hotel. There isn’t always someone at a front desk likely because it’s a smaller scale hotel. It was okay but something to get used to.

Our stay was very comfortable and we very much appreciated the pampering touches offered - the cozy bathrobe/pajamas, the serene lounge with drinks and snacks, the thoughtfully and deliciously prepared vegetarian breakfast. The room was also more spacious than we'd come to expect in Japan. It's a hair outside the busiest area which was actually nice. Recommended. No views out the window.

It’s super clean, comfy bed, staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was great!

Excellent customer service. Delicious full breakfast. Evening lounge free wine and beer. Beautiful, clean hotel, value for money, excellent location. Beds were very firm.

Location The room it was very small the bed, bed sheets, pillows was excellent, great shower, staff spoke very limited English but all extremely nice and willing, but there is something that all must know. The EXIT door on our floor was locked. There was a earthquake while we there and we were not able to go down through the stairs. We were shocked! More shock was when we complaint and the answer was if there is an emergency the doors will open so we asked there is no guaranty right ? The answer was in this case we have keys. I didn’t sleep all night long worried. Not a pleasant experience.

Location. The layout of the hotel and the care given to the design and color of the rooms. The breakfast menus were good, but there needs to be more variety.

Location near train. Very kind and attentive staff.

The warm reception. The professional staff. The room. The details of having everything in the room. (Toothbrush toothpaste, hairbrush, shaving kit). Pijamas. Etc.

Its super basic. No windows, just elevator, no stairs, ridiculously unsafe feeling's in case if the fair or earthquake is happening ? very small rooms, not enough electricity plugs.... we have never experienced the hotel like that.

The rooms were so comfortable and made it easy to relax after a long day out sightseeing. The breakfast service was amazing! Every meal we had was delicious and offered a nice variety of options. The staff were also so knowledgeable and helpful with any needs that arose for us. Location wise, this is also very conveniently located about a 5 minute walk from the subway station so it made it easy to get around. Having the option to do your laundry there was also so convenient. I would recommend this hotel anyone who asks about where to stay in Kyoto. Nothing, we had a wonderful experience here.

This property is worth your money. The service, the rooms and the amenities they provide is top notch! Will definitely stay here again!! ❤️

Thought the breakfast was pricey , considering the yogurt and bread options same every day. Even the cooked part had little variation; I would maybe do one breakfast there next time, better value places nearby !

It was hard at first to find the building.
