It was a perfect stay in downtown La Jolla. Great location, super cute place. Some noise from street but honestly couldn’t really hear over amazing a/c! Would definitely recommend!
-
Was a good value considering the location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Just be warned that the “city view” rooms open out to the street and are noisy and offer no privacy. I would not suggest staying in a city view room.

Happy with the location and accommodations.

Great location and amazing staff. Very friendly and helpful. Fun vibe, clean rooms, rooftop bar and restaurant are amazing

What I will say about this hotel is that the staff were incredible and went above and beyond for each guest, they are a real credit to the establishment, look after them!

Beautiful property, perfectly situated in the hub of the shops and restaurants and next to the ocean. Loved every moment. Staff were fabulous. Only thing it could use is a room for guests to avail of a washer and dryer, since many guests may be road tripping like us and want to put a full load on before moving on. Otherwise, 5 stars in every way 😉

Perfect location to the main touristic attraction. I will stay here again.

Professional stuff and nice. Room was super clean. We are looking forward to go again. Thank you!

Wonderful ocean views from some rooms. The staff was amazing and very responsive!! The Birdseye Restaurant was very convenient. Other restaurants were within an easy walk. Short drive to La Jolla Playhouse which was excellent.

The hotel is nice and well located. The staff were very nice. Our room unfortunately was right next to the rooftop bar and sandwiched with the bar’s ice machine and service closet. The hallway for our room was used for anyone in the bar to use/wait for the bathroom in the hall. On the other side of our room was the stairwell for people to go to the bar/restaurant as well. Needless to say it was pretty noisy. There was no taking a nap, going to bed before midnight and no sleeping in as they prepped for brunch service. There really shouldn’t be a guest room there at all. The hotel just apologized and said that we should request an ocean-view room next time.

Extremely attentive staff..everyone!

I have worked 15 years in the hospitality industry across the country and have never experienced staff this rude and dismissive. I have tried to send multiple emails to the company before leaving this public review, with no response. This is motel 6 value, for resort prices. Dirty rooms, overcharged, & disrespectful employees at the front desk. Bar and market staff were the only kind people working here.

Room was beautiful, restaurant and mini mart were so convenient and we loved the balcony. The area was just right in the middle of the walkable busy area, which was awesome and fun but I should've realized that it would be a little loud at night. But the view is to die for

The room as very nice, however it should be made clear during the reservation process to hat you may be in a room which shares a hallway with a restaurant kitchen as well as a bathroom for the restaurant guests. Our room was on the 4th floor, the smell of kitchen & food service is not always pleasant, having people standing outside your door to use the bathroom is also kind of invasive. For this “privilege” we were charged an extra $50 early check in at 1pm. Staff are very nice.

Great location!

Rooms are small but it’s the trade off for the location which was perfect!

This is our second time staying here and it is lovely overall. We love the valet service and the "convient" store inside the lobby. It is located right in the action so you can really enjoy downtown la jolla from your balcony. We are seagull lovers so it's always a bonus to see so many in the distance. It is quite loud, the garbage men come daily and early, I am an early riser so it wasn't a problem. It is located by so many restaurants and shops + a few great gyms... One thing I will note is that we have stayed here twice now and both times the fire alarm went off for an extended period of time. This time it went off pretty early in the morning, not an ideal way to wake up on vacation.
