Inn By The Sea La Jolla

Wonderful stay for our 50th wedding anniversary. Although construction was going on the hotel was clean and relatively quiet. The staff always greeted us daily and was very helpful. A welcome basket made our stay so special. Walkable to the shore made it a great place to relax.

Nice new updated rooms! Perfect location to walk to shops, restaurants and La Jolla Cove!

The staff and room were great. If you want to be close to everything and not break the bank, this is the place to stay!

I stayed during renovations, which I thought would be fine but the room I booked was supposed to be a partial ocean view and I was told there would be no running water on that floor. Because I booked through Expedia all they could offer was a different room on a different floor but with a pool view and free parking. The room was very nice and Newley renovated

Liked the location. And the staff was outstanding and the rooms were clean Hated the renovations and noise and did not like that there was no restaurant. The pool was fine but they had no chairs or towels for the beach like other hotels in the same area See above

It was a last minute stay that we loved. So convenient to the shops and restaurants in La Jolla. The staff was helpful with recommendations. Our room was large and clean with a huge closet. We will definitely stay here again when we have more time to explore!

The staff, property, and location was great. They were undergoing renovations and the partnering gym was as well, so there weren’t many extra amities to enjoy.

Nice Remolded Rooms Friendly Staff and Great Quiet Location

This hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, we knew this before we arrived and the staff let us know again and apologized for some minor parking inconveniences. The renovations did not affect our stay, the staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and always smiling. We noticed workers a few times, but it never affected what we were doing and they were so respectful as well. Well done to both the hotel and construction crew.

The hotel was clean and fresh, lots of amenities and close to places to eat and not too far from the beach It would have been nice if there were other snacks and food available that weren't in vending machines

If you can help it, wait until the renovation is over to stay here.

Current construction renovation impacting parking. I had to change my room because elevator noise inhibited sleep. The staff made every effort to satisfy my needs. The rooms are quite nice. Clean, efficient and comfortable. I have already booked 2 more 4 night stays. The location within La Jolla village is superb.

The staff was super kind and friendly and let us check in a bit earlier than the check in time. We came in with a super early flight and this helped us reset and get much needed rest before heading out for the day. Super grateful.
