The location and staff were wonderful and helpful. Our bathroom had mold behind the sink on the counter top. The shower had what looked like black mold on the inside and outside of the sliding door and in some of the grout. Last year I arrived home from a bath with black mold and was diagnosed with Legionella. Also the lid on the toilet was loose and the bolt holding the toilet to the floor was loose on the side near the shower. I sent a note to management but no response.

The location was perfect for hopping on the train to visit the towns in Cinque Terre. The updated hotel bar, rooms, and cleanliness were much appreciated!

So close to the train station! Perfect for traveling. Clean and quiet, great fitness room if that's a priority for you (for me definitely) Has old and new rooms. I was in old room. I could only get wall light and bathroom light to work. Other lights would not function. Key for my room was attached to a doorknob!! Made it very awkward to carry around when out adventuring for the day..

Great location, so close to La Spezia train station. That is why I chose this. It made it so easy to get around cinque terre! Room was great and clean but the shower is very small. I get anxious around small Space and if I was heavier/overweight it would be difficult to get into the shower.

The room had a cigarette smell. There was no conditioner in the bathroom

Location was super! Our room had a wonderful view plus its own patio and chairs and umbrella! Parking was tight.

Gorgeous Hotel… Very clean… Very accommodating… Probably the best breakfast I’ve had at accommodations… Staff was outstanding… N/A

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was great. Even moved us to an upgraded room when our air conditioner wasn’t working. Not much.

location was great. friendly staff elevators were not working

Conveniently located across the La Spezia Central Station We stayed at Hotel Firenze e Continentale again this year after having a wonderful experience last year in their newer wing, where the rooms were modern and beautiful. Unfortunately, this time we were assigned an older room that felt dark, stuffy, and had an unpleasant smell. The location is still very convenient, but the room experience was disappointing compared to our previous stay.

Next to train station in La Spezia which is convenient to visit Cinque Terre.

Location, food and service was great!

This lovely hotel is very conveniently located 100 metres from the train station (on even surfaces). Given I was arriving and leaving by train, this was really important to me. Reception staff are lovely and warm and stored my bag (I arrived before check-in). The reception area is beautifully appointed, there are lounge areas (although you may not consume food or drink in those spaces). My room was a good size, with a well appointed bathroom. Very comfortable bed and good storage. Also good outlets. There is a lift for luggage. The hotel has a few different 'wings' so my first navigation to room was a challenge, but otherwise easy. The location is great for exploring La Spezia - everything is walkable. I was also able to easily get the train for the Cinque Terre. Breakfast was amazing - lovely staff, great options, large room. The Bar was amazing, especially during aperitivo hour where they served delicious snacks with drinks. The restaurant was great although didn't have a lot of 'local' specialities. There is also an amazing restaurant over the road which does. All of the shared spaces and many rooms have been entirely updated/renovated. The room I was in had not but it was still very comfortable.

The non renovated rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Unfortunately I stayed in a non renovated room.

location . It is near all amendies like train station, restaurants especially a good chinese restaurant calls Zhong the hotel laundry service is not inside the hotel premise but locates at the back street where guest must walk a few blocks behind the hotel

It was spacious, clean and a great location! The fire alarm woke us up abruptly on Easter Sunday and it was going off for about an hour. No clear announcements were made to indicate if it was a test or if we needed to evacuate.

Had a recurring problem with the toilet taking a long time to fill. We called down to have some one look at it he spent 5 minutes on it and it's okay. But it wasn't we just had to wait to flush in room 52. The beds were really hard.

Good hotel near the train station
