Baymont by Wyndham Latham Albany Airport

Hallways had dirty and ripped carpet. Please return the money for breakfast. Otherwise will pause the appropriate payment for breakfast.

The room I stayed in was very clean , nice and well kept, until my hubby woke up Saturday, he realized he's been bite by bedbugs on his stomach and arms. I reported when I checked out and the guy was nonchalant about it, didn't show any remorse about this happening, or even a refund. He stated contacting pest control. He could have showed some empathy or concern. Noone wants to go away to be bitten or even encounter bedbugs. It's scary. This is a hotel by the airport who's under the umbrella of Wyndham and need to do better, with the dining area, and hotel workout area. Iit states they have one on the advertising but when we got there we was told construction is being done. It's impossible the department of health thoroughly checked this hotel and passed it for people to stay, Then they lied as well. SHAME ON THE HOTEL OWNERS AND DEPT OF HEALTH FOR NOT MAKING SURE THIS HOTEL IS GREAT FOR STAY. THANK YOU BUT NO THANK YOU.

Place was dirty. Many nats due to accumulation of garbage in the exit areas. There was only cereal for breakfast the full 4 days we stayed.

It was nice that it was so close to the airport, and that is why I booked it. However, as we went further into the property things got worse. There was a hole in the wall behind our door where it had been kicked in, the door to the bathroom had a cut hot/cold plate behind the handle, the window opened but there was no screen and it did not latch, there were two shower chairs blocking the toilet and when I moved them water poured out. Also it's in a very close proximity to the detention center. Not worth the money I saved.

The room smelled like a wet dog. I could not even buy a bottle of water. The machine was out of order. Breakfast was not even worth staying for.

There was a mouse in one room, second room the t.v. did not work.

I had a very good experience with the free shuttle to the airport. Clean, comfy bed.

The shower did not work.

Really nice people that run the place. Very helpful and kind but this place is run down. Very sketchy and felt nervous in my room all night. Had to stay cause my flight was cancelled at the airport and they were close and cheap

Sewer smell in hallway

Bed and room was clean. No bugs. Simple check in. Will definitely be using again

Parking lot a mess !!!

The same gentleman that picked me up at the airport in a personal car also checked me in at the front desk. So staff is small. The breakfast items were extremely limited. Room & bed were okay. Shower somewhat grungy flooring. I’ll find another place for my next overnight stay in Albany, NY.

I’ve stayed here prior to this visit which was why I chose to go back. I was very disappointed this stay. My mini fridge was hot and the ac worked for the first day then it was blowing hot air. It’s says no smoking yet the hallway smells like an old ashtray.

Great staff. Very accommodating. Airport shuttle an A+

Don’t stay here especially if you have kids

Location near Albany Airport and local highways is terrific. Hot water, of which there was none for a shower. I tried twice at different am and pm and waited patiently for hot water to come thru pipes, but there was none. Secondly, there was black mold behind the toilet on the bathroom floor and wall. These are deal breakers

Too many ants in the rooms

The location in proximity to the airport was great. The shower did not work, there was mold all around the the bathroom shower and ceiling, a stain on the bedspread, and the person at the front desk just shook his head! Not even an apology!
