Astor Kensington Hostel

I loved the hostel, its organization, and the cleanliness of the place. The staff were all wonderful and always helpful whenever I had any questions, especially the Algerian guy — sorry, I forgot his name. All the staff were excellent and I really liked them very much. The hostel’s location is more than perfect, right next to the metro station and only a few minutes from the bus stops. I would definitely love to stay at this hostel again. The only thing I did not like, and which really bothered me, was the weak internet connection. The Wi-Fi was not as strong as it should be.

Amazing and kind person, very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, everything was smooth and well organized. Highly recommended!

The location is very near two tube stations. Very clean with lots of fun activities and a lounge that is relaxing. Katie the manager is awesome ?

Best in town Nothing

Room was fairly small for 4 people and all our luggage. One bathroom to share between several rooms of people. No hand dryer or hair dryer by the looks of it.

They. make me pay twice for the same acomodationalmost one month ago the dont refundable me back. They say when i arrieve to wait48 hours for it and let me pay in cash day by day with another booking maided. They acepted a cancel. Pay a tax o 29 dolars and them since that they im still waiting 120£ back Untrustheable.

The staff at the hostel were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made a big difference. They were always friendly, polite and did their best to assist with any questions or concerns I had. The location was also excellent, with easy access to public transit, shops, and nearby attractions. It was a convenient base for exploring the area, and I felt safe and comfortable walking around the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, my stay was impacted by several issues that were never resolved. The wifi did not work at all for my entire four-night stay, on either my computer or my phone. It appeared to be a DNS server issue where new devices could not get assigned an IP address, meaning only those already connected could use the wifi. In addition to that, many of the power outlets in the room and building were not functioning, including the one by my bed. This made it very inconvenient to charge my phone and other devices, especially given the lack of internet access.

Location was perfect, I absolutely recommend for those who really do backpack, not traveller one who bring a luggage due to the unavailable stairs No stairs

Good location, budget friendly, good staff. Padlocks should be free, at least rent option could be provided.
