Queens Park Hotel

The deluxe single bedroom was too tiny and was a little larger than a closet. The bathroom was even smaller.

Its location and affordability worked for us. Our rooms were clean, quiet, and the weather was nice enough that we could sleep with the windows open- though our window did not face the street. Rooms and bathrooms were small. But we were out touristing all day so I just wanted a hotel that was clean where we could sleep.

Nothing Our check-out experience was unacceptable. Oksana, the staff member at the desk, was uncooperative and displayed a rude attitude. Her colleague simply left for a break, leaving us with an unresolved issue regarding our deposit. We had clearly confirmed and received approval for a late check-out, yet at the last minute they demanded the deposit and refused to store our luggage. This forced us to stand with all our belongings, creating an unnecessary and extremely frustrating situation. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service was shocking.

It was awful, unbearably hot rooms and the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, really terrible and the rooms looked absolutely nothing like the pictures they use to advertise

Good location, very clean and comfortable. We had a fridge and microwave in the room which were handy. Clean towels every day- will definitely stay again No bedside lamp so had to turn the main light off by the door when going to bed

Lovely location, and nice inside Only issue was our room was on the ground floor at the front of the property. It states rooms are soundproof but it was very loud with traffic and music through the night. But other than that a lovely stay.

We had an issue with the room originally allocated to us, but on complaint, a very satisfactory alternative was offered

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The people staying in the room next to us were slamming doors at midnight, two nights in a row which made it uncomfortable. We spoke to staff and they dealt with the issue.

Friendly staff and good location

Staff Hot room in the attic, no bed side table No lamps only one light by the door. Loud due to lino flooring, poor overall Power went out in the morning Heating also went out so left with no shower or coffee. Didn't have enough time to get it sorted.

The place is very good , and even the rooms are nice and good for the price they have . The reception and housekeeping stuff are very friendly . And I really appreciate that morning time is quiet and nobody is coming to disturbing you .

Reception staff were helpful and did bring extra pillows when requested. When we complained about the quality of the room, the duty manager was apologetic and said he would upline this to his manager, who would get back to us. However, we are still waiting for this over a week later. The state of the room was appalling with very tired furniture, no bedside table on one side, with no bedside lights. We stayed on the 1st of February, and there was no heating available, and we were cold all night. In the evening, I had to shower in luke cold water. We did not expect a quality hotel, but this felt more like an emergency respite room for the homeless during periods of freezing weather.

Staff were friendly and did eventually solve the issue when it was risen to them! When going online to book the accommodation you are presented with carpeted rooms, nice bathroom and nicely furnished rooms! When we checked in everything was normal and looked lovely. We was then show to our room where we was taken to a back part of the hotel which was extremely outdated, only few of the lights worked through the hallways and it was very smelly. When we entered the room I was very shocked to be presented with a tiny room which was disgusting! The walls and skirting boards were filthy, the chairs beds and wardrobe was broken and wobbly! It was so unhygienic!! It was very disappointing, when we complained to front desk they told us that we had booked a “standard room” not a delux room? I showed them pictures of what I had booked and it did not represent what I was given! Once a bit of back and forth they agreed to upgrade us “for free on them” when we went to our new room it was exactly what we had booked. I really don’t recommend at all!
