Very noisy traffic and sirens and night people shouting

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff Gefin was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Their excellent service made my stay enjoyable and stress-free. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

The best thing about staying in this hotel was the help I received from Jaydev. He was very friendly and helpful: carried my suitcase up the very steep stairs, solved my phone charger issues and stayed longer on duty than he was supposed to. I would recommend making him a manager I wanted to extend my stay by one more night, but the management increased the rate by 15 pounds, something I never encountered before in my many travels. Jaydev tried his best, but he did not have the power of a manager to make this decision, so I changed my mind

Other people who came were banging the bath door and waking me up from my sleep.

Location- though difficult to check in help offere No staff support
-
Did not like anything

Receptionist was so helpful and friendly, he carried my case to room without me asking, having free filtered coffee was a bonus. Being a solo traveler I felt safe. Not having my own bathroom.
-
Really cute place. Love the breakfast bar with the honesty system in place. Found the self-check in at the front, quite hard to get into.

Nothing Everything Shower didn’t work No shower in the room No AC Place is a maze to try and find your room with confusing paper signs pointing you in every direction. Not to mention the building is in the slums of East London
-
In a good location, overall quite clean The single bed in my room was so shaky, it keeps making noises whenever I move on the bed. The pillow was way too small as well. Water pressure was low in the shared bathroom, with very limited temperature

The interior style was very unusual and niche but I didn't mind that. It felt quite run down inside and a bit old but clean nonetheless. The room was fairly quiet as I was at the rear of the property. Lots of stairs, so be careful if you have a large suitcase as there was no lift. Staff were friendly and welcoming. . You get what you pay for for this place. It's not high end by any stretch but its cheap and central, so you get what you pay for. My ensuite was a little smelly but bearable for one night
-
It would’ve been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
-
Large, comfortable bed. Clean. Bold, tiled decor in the ensuite bathroom. Good price. Advertised as being near the Oval but is actually by Camberwell Green. I arrived late and had to walk a mile form the Oval underground station at 11pm.
-
Very convenint for buses. For the price the room was good. Nothing in particular
-
Did what it said on the tin. Basic london accommodation for a reasonable price. Shared bathroom but that was no surprise and knew at time of booking
-
Wished we could have checked in earlier as am flight but understood.
-
Great value for $, good travel connections if you know your way around and happy to travel by bus initially.

Good location, plenty of pubs, shops and places to eat. 10 minute walk to Denmark hill station and near to the main road for buses.. Friendly staff. Value for money. L'occitane toiletries. Communal kitchen. Quirky set up. Shower blew a bit hot and cold... not a lot not to like. It did the job
