Superb

Location for food is ok The room was tiny. No cupboard just free standing clothes hanger next to bed. Tiny window. Me and my wife had to squeeze pass each other.

Exceptional

For the price we paid, the room we had was excellent. We were not expecting it to be so clean to be honest. It was a basic room, with no food or reception facilities, but that is what we expected for the price and we quite like the hands off approach. When we did engage with staff they were polite and helpful. The location was great for inner city London. The room was very hot throughout our stay and the rooms would benefit from some better fans or some air con- however we did visit during a heat wave and understand that these older buildings are going to be hot at times.

Hotel was in a great location, close to bus stops and tube for getting into London, far enough that it was in a quite area. apartment was clean and had what you need for self catering. staff were very friendly. no air conditioning no lift- just to inform those that might need/expect one. our apartment was on the top floor, not that this was a problem for us in anyway, as we were capable for the stairs.

Great location and clean. Staff was neutral, no rude but also not overly kind. Very strictly transactional.

Good

Two bedrooms were very welcome. Overall space available was great when back at the hotel. Staff were lovely and really keen to help. The room condition was a little tired and in need of some basic attention. Everything worked perfectly fine but would benefit from maintenance. Some people might find the area loud until late evening.

The price was ok. That's about it. Small room, no Air con in 30○C heat on the 1st floor, couldn't open a window, directly opposite a zebra crossing so could see the light all night. At plus 30°C this was horrible, it was a sweatbox. I would have slept better outside. There was a fan but mounted on a wall, in a high ceiling room so it did nothing. I have genuinely never had a worse sleep. The door entry was interment in using the keypad, would have preferred a key card. Also was sent request for ID info sent to verify my details, after having a scam message pretending to be Griffin House Hotel. So I wasn't very trusting of this request. In general avoid. This is not a hotel this is a townhouse converted into rooms, without the mod cons you need in a hotel. Air Con for one. The weather is out of this accommodations control, but the type of this property retains heat especially with high ceilings. Either provide extra fans for guests to compensate or make it explicitly clear on booking there is no air con.

Unfortunately there wasn’t alot to like about the property. The room was very dirty Although the staff were lovely and so helpful. The shower in our room only had cold water . The shower amentities were not refilled so there was nothing to shower with. The room was filthy, marks all over the walls and a weird musky smell. The photos don’t look like the property whatsoever

Clean Location

The hotel was very clean. Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing really. I knew before, that it was small. So no surprise.
