I travel frequently and have stayed in countless hotels across many countries, but I can confidently say that Hotel Cafe Royal is the best hotel I have ever experienced. The staff are exceptionally professional, warm, and genuinely welcoming, making every aspect of the stay feel effortless and enjoyable. The location is also outstanding, providing easy access to everything London has to offer. If I were to visit London a hundred more times, I would choose Hotel Cafe Royal every single time. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in London. Nothing

The hotel is beautiful, in an amazing and highly convenient location (right beside Piccadilly Circus) The rooms are spacious, which is unusual in a city centre. Love the complementary airport pick-up service as well as the availability of a Bentley for guests who need to be dropped off somewhere within a 2 mile radius. There were a few issues which we would not have expected for a 5* hotel: 1) The first day, we left early in the morning and returned late in the afternoon and discovered the room had not been cleaned. We learnt afterwards that we needed to press a button and request that the room is cleaned. 2) The shower-head clearly needed to be cleaned, probably limescale as the water was pouring in every direction. We reported this but the issue was not resolved. 3) We had 2 rooms and when paying the bill an "optional" 15% service charge was added, per room, per night, resulting in an additional charge of approximately 400 pounds, which we discovered when we were about to pay the bill. This is not something we have experienced before and should be highlighted very clearly before requesting payment. If this is for the cleaners, again, this should be explained clearly (it was not).

Staff were very helpful and professional. It was very clean and the room cleaning and service was very good. Cake and Bubbles was also great and can be accessed from the hotel. We loved the cocktails being served at the hotel bar. This is a special and unique hotel. I can’t think of anything.

The reception is beautiful. The location is superb. I upgraded to a junior suite. we did not receive any fruit, champagne or fresh flowers. The car was only available on one occasion. The bar is very small . The cost of room service is exhorbitant

Location. The bar and the grill room. The cake and bubbles cafe is a must visit. Not so keen on the touch lights in the bedrooms.

The concierge service is superficial. In a five-star hotel, especially when staying in one of the suites, it is not reasonable to request a spa booking and be told that the spa will contact you directly to arrange it. Similarly, when making a reservation at a restaurant that requires a deposit, it is not appropriate to simply be sent a link. A concierge service is there to make your life easier — not to have you coordinate and communicate with multiple departments yourself.
