the location was great, right in Piccadilly Circus

Oh dear, I really like capsule hotels but this one has some issues that need fixing. First of all you need to bring a padlock in order to lock the pod, they had none to sell. There's no good place to store your luggage safely, I slept with my bags in the pod. They should provide lockers for bags in the dorm. Pillow was uncomfortable in my opinion but that might be just me, my air conditioning worked thankfully because there was a terrible smell in my pod if I left it off. Bathroom facilities, the toilets were OK I guess, the showers were dirty and many didn't have soap, you can't decide the water temperature, everything gets wet in the changing area. Bring a towel or be ready to pay 5£ for a small one. No full body mirror. The door to leave the dorm to get to the bathroom malfunctioned and didn't open so I had to go all the way down to the reception to get help when I really needed the bathroom, the staff said that simply happens sometimes and showed me how to deal with it if it happens again..thanks, but this shouldn't happen at all. I've seen people saying they payed 35£ a night, I unfortunately payed a lot more which makes it difficult to be so forgiving of the shortcomings. If you need a place for one night and the price is OK you'll manage but otherwise I wouldn't recommend sadly.

Very quiet, I could fit all my things in it. First and last time in a capsule! Too warm!

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

In showers, water was too hot.

The location is great! Cocoons are comfortable and the price is amazing! Highly recommended! Nothing!

Location, accessibility, and comfort A drinking water fountain/ dispenser on each floor would be fantastic!

The downside were the toilets; many cabins were under maintenance, dirty, or lacked toilet paper.

It was in a great location and close to transportation. My sheets had stains on them.

There is an Orwellian security Protocol with individual card reviews for every person entering the elevator/door, parts of the staff being extremely rude and, unfortunately, racist (insisting on control of a Black person while two White ppl just walk through).

Amazing location, spacious pod( I am 6ft tall and was able to get dressed and sit comfortably in the pod), and for the price 100000% worth it!! The bathrooms could be questionable at times, but for the most part they are nice.

Only location. I had an experience with capsule hotels in Japan. This one, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. There is zero hospitality in this one. There is no lobby where you can have breakfast, relax, or study. Cleaning in toilets isn't sufficient. The water is always hot; you can't control its temperature.

The toilet stalls didn't have hooks or shelves, so anything you carried with you to the bathroom you either had to hold awkwardly or put on the floor while using the toilet. Ultimately not a huge deal, but it was the most annoying thing about my stay.

For what I needed, this was a great option.

Good wifi and AC, the location The capsule was very small and I hit my head several times. The bathroom and shower were too far from the capsule. The cleaners stood over the guest's head before leaving. There was trash piled up on top of the container inside the room. The bed gave me back pain.

The hygienic presentation, fresh clean and functional. A water dispenser ? , possibly a towel on each bed , just a small human touch!

Security was nice and very attentive at the door. The bedding was clean. There was no locker for luggage or even a small bag. to keep your stuff secure you had to put the rolling bag that you rolled all over the streets of London on to the clean white sheet of the bed that you would be sleeping in. Half of the showers were out of order, and a few of the toilets were out of order. The showers were designed to soak the floor so you got wet when you tried to get dressed. The beds were hot and the “fans” they say are in are not actually fans but a type of intake fan used over stoves. If you want to sleep cool you have to keep the capsule door open but then you deal with the lights all night, or bake inside your capsule, along with your stinky luggage. They don’t even have a place to fill up a water bottle.

staff was helpful and location is good the capsule hadn't been swept there was dust and hair. It's not noise proof and since theyre stacked on each other you can hear everything. I had very bad sleep because of the noise.

Clean Location Staff Very small area, no space for anything but the bed. Small entrance and walking areas.

I brought a padlock along but it didn’t fit the lock opening (too small)

the location is great, although it's difficult to find when you arrive because the building is under renovation and there's scaffolding in front. Starting with the people at the entrance, you greet them and they don't respond, immediately asking for your card to verify your guest status, in a rude manner. The rest of the staff is mildly friendly, but to the bare minimum, not exactly welcoming. They don't have a place to leave a large suitcase; it has to stay inside the room in front of (if you're lucky) your cocoon, unsupervised and easily accessible for any of the dozens of people in the room to grab it and leave with it. To store belongings, there's a small niche next to all the others, without any door or lock. The cocoon blinds make noise when opened and are heavy, and the lock is difficult to secure and put a padlock on. The bathroom is huge with many stalls, but the toilet paper runs out quickly, and many times when I went to use a stall, some disgusting person who went before me had put the roll of paper on the floor or on top of the trash can lid. There's no paper towel for drying hands and face, which isn't practical for getting ready; there's only one outlet for a hairdryer. The shower water is extremely hot, it can't be regulated, and the shower works with a sensor and keeps turning off every 2-3 minutes. There was a heat wave in London, and I decided to take a quick shower to cool off, and when I got out I was sweating more than before because of the scalding hot water from the shower, which isn't adjustable. I wouldn't recommend it to any normal person who doesn't hate themselves.
