I was upgraded as it was my Birthday - when I arrived they had decorated with flowers balloons and a teddy - plus a bottle of fizz - lovely surprise. We also had a plate of fruit and nice toiletries. Breakfast had a great choice. The bathroom needs updating.

Loved the central location. The breakfast at the mezzanine. The vip lounge with food and drinks. The room layout was nice. The matresses and bedding were old. My daughter slept on pull out sofa in living room with the most appalling mattress I have seen that was paper thin. The ventilation system was bad. New layer of dust every morning from the dirty air blowing in. Bad service from the staff. Called room service for food. They said we will call you back and never did. Called front desk for lighter blanket alternative because the weather was hot and he had nothing?? Later the cleaning person was cleaning and I asked her and she brought me a thinner blanket. Bad experience overall for the price.

Location is great right in the heart of London and minutes from West End Shows, fab restaurants and Bars. Bar area beautiful. Cocktails bit pricey. Went extra mile for our anniversary with complimentary drink and chocolates. Decorated room which was unexpected but appreciated. Beds super comfy and pillows. Aircon worked well in heat. The temperature in the changing rooms in spa area on a hot day was so uncomfortable. Reception staff were a little unfriendly. The over bath shower was difficult to step in and out of and slippy - would prefer shower cubicle.
