The staff were without exception, a delight - intelligent, engaging and so helpful The roof garden was extraordinary It was great to be so central The fact that the bill included an unexpected £50 which was apparently to give to the staff - I refused to pay. Surely part of the £1000 + which I had already paid (which didn’t include breakfast ) was for that? It left a really nasty taste which somewhat spoilt my husbands 70thbirthday gift.

Great people, lovely hotel very good food and in general one of the best I’ve stayed in London Dry Comfortable pets and pillow pillows. Stuff were incredibly nice.

Loved the location! Staff went over and above to help us with my husband who struggles to get about. Room was great. I think breakfast could have been included for the price.

The staff are absolutely fantastic. The location is also amazing - it is in Soho, just a few minutes' walk from Piccadilly Circus so in a very lively area... yet the hotel itself is incredibly tranquil and the room we stayed in completely quiet, we couldn't hear a thing, which isn't always the case in central London hotels. So you can walk to the West End, walk to Regent Street or Oxford Street, walk to St James' Park, all in a few minutes. Finally, the maximalist decor makes it feel a bit more quirky and informal than other hotels. My daughter absolutely loved her mini-facial, many thanks to the person in the spa who looked after her, you gave her a wonderful memory. Nothing could have been better. It's not cheap of course, but a great experience.
