Fabulous location, walking distance to many train lines, in the middle of the most touristic area in London with good vibes. Large enough room. Good service. Nice atmosphere and "vibe". Unusual room design which seems more for younger people-not sure every person would like it.

Great location, staff were excellent, rooms were stylish and fun The toilet in the middle of the room with very little privacy.

Amazing location, love the architecture and interior design. The weird design of the room with the sink / vanity area in the room I actually liked. It’s expensive

The hotel is in a great location, next to Chinatown, the theatre district and close to Carnaby street. The staff were truly 5 star, and the concierge really went above and beyond. The room was a good size and the bathroom was luxurious with amazing toiletries. The breakfast was à la carte and difficult to get a seat. Things also came out when they were ready versus the table being served at the same time.

They tried to over charge me for 4 different times. Also the deposit they didn’t pay back and tried to charge me for nothing. The receptionist apologized many times for me seeing them trying to charge more. I asked to release my credit card amount and to send me an invoice by mail and they never did. This hotel is either unorganized and will take your money by mistake or either a scam machine.

As someone who genuinely loves W Hotels and has stayed at several locations worldwide, I was really looking forward to my stay at W London with my family. Unfortunately, it turned into one frustrating issue after another. The room situation: We were 4 people, including my youngest who is only 1 year old. The hotel insisted we needed a bigger room. I honestly think they could have made an exception given the baby's age, but they refused. They offered an upgrade to a larger suite, which I accepted because I had no choice. Then they came back and said that suite was only available for 2 nights – on the third night, we would need to upgrade to an even bigger (and more expensive) suite. I said no, I will leave after 2 days. They then told me I still had to pay the full booking amount or take it up with Booking.com. Booking.com told me the hotel needed to confirm the change. After much back and forth, they finally accepted and we continued our stay – but the stress was completely unnecessary. Breakfast issues: Breakfast was included in our rate, but my first disappointment was that it was not a buffet – unexpected for a hotel at this level. Then, on the final invoice, they charged me for a smoothie, claiming it was not included in the "included breakfast." That makes no sense and left a very bad taste. Final verdict: I will not return to W London. I truly hope other W Hotels around the world haven't followed the same path. This location felt like a constant battle over money rather than a relaxing stay.
