We had a lovely two night stay at the Staunton which is ideally situated for exploring London with plenty of bars and cafes within a few minutes walk. The location of the Shaftesbury Theatre was only a short walk away. Our room was comfortable and clean and the air conditioning was a bonus with the warm weather. The staff were friendly and the full English breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again. The only downfall is the steep stairs up to the rooms as there is no lift.

The location Breakfast was horrible, you can hear everything from the other rooms, door didn’t have an extra lock, staff barely spoke English and they could not be bothered.

Location of hotel - walkable from Euston in 15 mins, helpful staff, room requests were met (extra pillow, walk-in shower, room on lower floor), restaurants and bars nearby, easy access to underground and bus services. Breakfast: quality of food good but menu choice rather limited given room cost. Room: poor plumbing-loo did not flush well, minimal bedding with no additional blankets (it was unseasonably chilly for our first couple of nights), coffee/tea bags did not get replenished without asking.

Location is perfect. The room and common areas were clean. Comfortable bed. Airco in the room (not needed during my stay but it can be a lifesaver in summer) The room was tiny. At 7.00 sharp some kind compressor started running outside of my window. I was already awake but it could have been a rough wake up. Breakfast is decent but limited.
