The Hayden Pub & Rooms

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my needs. I wish the property was a little closer to Paddington Station, but it is still within walking distance so not really a problem for me, and I would visit again in the future.

Clean, well appointed, great food and drink We found everything navigable, but there are stairs to get to the rooms. Also the tub was high - about 2.5' to step over and into. Something to be aware of.

The staff was awesome & the room was very comfortable. The food was great.

Good value for money Room shuddered, not sure if it was the underground? Squeaky floors made the room quite noisy. No lock on the inside and very soft mattress

The location was fabulous. Super close to Paddington Station, restaurants, shops, Hyde Park, Notting Hill, Kensington. I felt very safe and had lots of amenities right at the doorstep. Loved having the pub right downstairs for a drink (complimentary at check in) and dinner when I didn't feel like going out. Also appreciated the complimentary snacks, water, and tea/coffee in the room. Rooms were spacious and felt luxurious. The noise from the pub was quiet loud in my room (#2 on the 2nd floor). Normally this would have shut down at 11, but there seemed to be a private event that went late one night of my stay. Even after closing time, the loud music continued playing for some time. The other night of my stay, there was a strange banging on the wall for about 10 minutes late at night.

Decor, accommodations, food, cocktails, staff, location.. I can’t say enough good things. That I couldn’t stay longer.

Everything! So comfortable, quiet, spacious bathroom with amenities, wonderful staff. And sweet restaurant. Fish and chips was excellent. Metro stop is only blocks away. The only suggestion would be a hand bar by the tub. I am short and the tub is high. Nothing to grab. A bath mat would also be helpful.

We loved the room - it was so cozy and cute and had everything we needed. Loved that we could open the window and get some fresh air. And the pub was so sweet and beautifully decorated for the holidays. We ate there twice and really enjoyed our meals. And thank you for the complimentary welcome drink when we first arrived. That was so nice! (And for carrying all our bags up to our rooms!) Not a thing!

Charming pub with super friendly staff. The rooms were very comfortable, good mattress and always cleaned daily with new towels, etc. You have a thermostat in your room to adjust for heat or ac to your liking. Great lighting and cute decor We probably should have expected this being above a pub but our bathroom would occasionally smell like Fried food, even with the windows closed. we were on the top floor so might have been coming from a vent on the roof

The staff greeted us with a glass of wine before taking us to the room. Perfect location close to Kensington/Hyde Park and Heathrow airport. Rooms are very nicely furnished with comfy bed, very nice furniture, ample storage for clothes, functional heating and A/C, and nice snacks/coffee/tea. Big bonus: A milk frother for early morning espresso! Oh, and the Pub menu and food are excellent, including happy hour drinks! The bathroom configuration was odd, seemingly designed for giants! The toilet was extremely high and climbing in and out of the tub/shower would be a challenge for people with mobility issues. For us, just odd.

The staff were very friendly and wanted guests to be happy. Hotel is dirty and smells. Carpets need to be replaced. Air conditioning filters need to be replaced. All surfaces need a deep cleaning.

The staff (Orsi, George and Duarte)were naturally kind and exceptionally helpful—from my earliest questions when planning my trip to giving great advice the 4 nights I stayed there. The bathroom was spacious and spotless and the A/C was a lifesaver as London had temps of 90 degrees F while I was there. The location was in the middle of so much yet rooms were quiet and sleep easy The stairs up to the room were steep and winding—ok for me but difficult for my friend who has bad knees

This was our second stay. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Great to have the pub, with delicious food, so close. Above all else the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff was so welcoming and the room was very chic. It had a comfy bed, heated towel rack, and all the amenities you need. Durte welcomed us with a drink at the bar, we enjoyed some food and the music and atmosphere was on point. The staff went above and beyond, we will be back! There is not an elevator, but we didn’t mind because the rooms are quiet and a good value.

Such a charming place. The ambience is so inviting! The staff was wonderful and Duart made us feel so well cared for. The food is exceptional as well. All around perfect. Nothing- everything was perfect!

Loved the vibe of staying over a pub. The rooms were spotless, and the staff is attentive. Our room was serviced every day. Also the food they serve is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If stairs are difficult for you, be aware they are part of the experience. We were able to navigate them without any difficulty except when our super early departure required some extra work to get everything to street level.

There wasn’t breakfast served at this establishment. Nothing!!
