I never stay anywhere else in London, can't fault the place

The location of this hotel is excellent due to its proximity to the Bayswater Tube station, restaurants, pubs and bakeries. The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. My single room was very tiny given the price.

Staff were very helpful as it was a last minute booking!

Location is great! There are 2 frequent metro stations nearby. Hyde park is nearby also. A lot of small shops and restaurants. Breakfast was okayish, not a lot of choice.

The location is absolutely perfect, very near to several different underground stations, and also to Notting Hill, Hyde Park etc. All while still feeling quite calm and relaxing. There are also several nice restaurants just around the corner. I didn't order breakfast but either you can go to the many lovely brunch places nearby, or by breakfast at M&S just around the corner (there is an empty mini fridge in the room to store what's needed). The room was small but very nice. The cleaning was also very good, new towels every day etc. Overall, felt very comfortable here and will definitely look at going back to this hotel in the future. The staff was mostly nice, but one guy who checked me in never even smiled at me so maybe a bit rude. But a woman helped me with an issue in my room, and was very kind and helpful with it so clearly it depends on which person who's working.

Very clean. Good location. Was very loud. Room next to us used a walkway right outside the window. Lots of people being so loud. Air conditioner we didn’t think worked. But it turned out we were using wrong thermostat. The one for the air was behind the tv.. right! Could have explained that to us at check in.

We had a very simple and small room (twin beds), but it was quiet (we were on the backside) and clean. Airconditioning worked well. The hotel is located in a very quiet street and is easy to reach from the two tube stations nearby (Queensway and Bayswater)

NOTHING! From the very nice pictures we were looking forward to the stay. However after arrival at the location, things took a tumble. From the reviews it was apparent that the rooms were indeed tiny - but in reality it was to the extent that you are almost unable to unpack. What was not that obvious was that entrance to our specific room required the use of a key that only the staff had access to - with a rather substantial waiting time every time for the not very friendly nor accommedating staff (2 young men). Also not hidden in the fine print was the fact that the room itself was icecold - and the staff seemed rather uninterested in the fact that it required the use of thermal underwear and a winter jacket to get through the night in the extremely squeeky bed. The room was for all practical purposes inhabital for people not representing any of the arctic poles - and we of course could not go through with the stay and was forced to vacate the premises. HORRIBLE ROOMS, EXPERIENCE & SERVICE - it is truly the full monty.

Liked the room, I paid a little more to have a garden view. Liked we had a nice closet for clothes, liked I could alter the warmth or coolness of the room. It was a heat wave so the coolness was fabulous. The pillows were good. Staff helped to keep medication in the freezer since the room fridge was not cold enough. No one checked for coffee and tea replacements while we stayed. Would have liked a microwave and a real coffee maker although do love a kettle if that is the option.

Kensington was lovely, a great location with pubs, restaurants, grocery store and tube station within an easy walk. Great staff recommendation for a nearby dinner spot. The room was quite small, though efficiently laid out, and street noise woke us up every morning. The noise issue would make me reconsider returning.
