I'm so glad I stayed here! I loved the quirky and delightful design of the room, the luxurious towels, sheets, pillows, and bed, the lovely breakfast lounge, and the fabulous location. The staff were warm and helpful, there were excellent snacks and drinks on hand when needed, and it was easy to walk to the Portobello Market, the Underground, and all sorts of fun shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The overall aesthetic and vibe was exactly what I wanted for a splurge in Notting Hill.

Very nice bedroom Very nice furniture and Victorian design Very British Very very poor breakfast For 450 ponds a day ask extra money for a egg and bacon it’s hilarious and stupid

I was forced to leave the hotel at approximately 10:30pm due to an overwhelming smell of fumes in my room, which made it impossible to stay. When I raised this issue with the front desk and requested an alternative room, I was told that the hotel was fully booked and no other accommodation could be offered (even after I offered to pay the difference for a more expensive room). Given the circumstances, and trying to be understanding, I explained that I had no option but to leave and find another hotel late that night. The front desk assured me at the time that I would not be charged for the stay. I then had to secure alternative accommodation at short notice, which caused considerable stress. I believed the matter had been resolved until I noticed that I have since been charged by the Portobello Hotel regardless. Charging me after explicitly confirming that I would not be charged, particularly when the issue was caused by an uninhabitable room, is extremely disappointing and, in my view, shows very poor faith

We stayed in the Best Room and it truly was the best experience. The staff on site were all extremely kind and attentive, and they really make you feel at home. The property was perfectly located just steps from the famous Portobello Road. Everything was perfect. Thank you for making our stay so special, we will be returning next time we are in London!

We love the portbello — it’s right around the corner from where we used to live and every time we visit London it’s the only place we look to stay. Incredibly comfortable, clean, and the staff there make the stay exceptional. Great attention to detail and a uniquely high-tough experience. NA

Great hotel in the middle of Notting Hill. It was close to the Portobello Markets and other shopping areas. It's a 10 minute walk to the tube station so it's easy to get around from the hotel. The room was small, but it had a super comfortable bed and some interesting wall art.

The decor was pretty. They turned my bed down at night. Refreshed it daily. Room was very small. Shower wasn’t good. Didn’t stay hot and was very small.
