The hotel was very well located, right off oxford steet and right near a well conected tube station. the beds were comfortable and the ambient lighting was nice. the rooms were quiet and it was very easy to fall asleep the toilets sounded like a jet engine when flushed. the whole hotel was a bit damp smelling, but it is underground. tried the self check in at 5 pm (well after the checkin time) and it said that the room was not ready, but this was quickly sorted by the member of staff at the counter (although begrudgingly).

just location Very disappointing stay. The room was uncomfortable, the service was poor, and the overall experience was far below expectations. Definitely not worth the price. I would not stay at Zedwell Hotel again and cannot recommend it.

The location was unbeatable. So so close to everything, Oxford street, Covent Garden. So so much Staff were really helpful and friendly It stunk so badly The bathroom didn’t feel clean Found other peoples left things like cigarette filters cotton buds Had to PAY to store your luggage which I just think is another way for them to make money and rip customers off to be honest. I’ve never had to do this ever and I’m a regular in London. Just shouldn’t be a thing in my opinion. The aircon wasn’t great and the QR code for it too know how to work it just never loaded. The WiFi was hit and miss

The only thing thats good about this hotel is the location. There is only one lift to access the whole hotel which creates a massive bottleneck of people. They charge for anything extra. Turn up early? 40 pounds please. The rooms are underground and shake when what I assume is the tube goes past. There are staff there but the whole check in process is done by you not them.

Very well located - next to subway, shopping and touristic area Very small room Everything (luggage storage etc) is extra charged

Brilliant location and very clean rooms. You can hear the underground while in the room but it’s weirdly relaxing. The problems we had were that check in wasn’t ready for 3pm, the corridors had a not so pleasant smell and it seems silly but the beds were too soft. We all woke with sore backs from the extremely soft mattresses.

Never talked to any staff could check yourself in very fast. Late check in. Room was fine. Good place if never gonna be in room just for sleeping. It is what it is. No windows means no light coming in which can be a problem in summer.. Location very central. Good value for money in London Location is -4 floor so we were at same level as underground and was noisy and woke me up in morning. Room is very small would benefit from bedside table, somewhere to put clothes etc. Mattress very soft
-
Brilliant access to the theatre district, exactly the reason for our visit. It’s starting to show its wear and tear. The carpets are extremely stained and probably need replacing, the shower sealer and grout was moulding.
-
Good location Was not very clean, sewage smell in hallway, upon arrival was clear that the bathroom had not been cleaned and had found stained blood on matress
-
Location Rooms too small
-
Good location, easy to check in/out Expensive bag storage - cheaper options nearby. Room wasn’t completely clean and mattress had multiple stains on it. Shower water leaks into bathroom and main room as it’s all one level floor. Open black bin bag of rubbish left in corridor outside our room for the duration of our stay.
-
The fresh air-conditioned air quality The room was smaller than expected, shower didn't have any shower gel to clean myself and it didn't look clean. The bed was bit too soft but at least it was quiet. The room wasn't ready at 3pm I had to wait over an hour to have it cleaned first. The staff didn't seem to care seemed overwhelmed by the numerous complaints from other people.

The location of the hotel was fab. The stench in the hallway where our room was unbearable to the point it was making me wretch my guts up and the front of house gent wasn't very approachable on check in, had a face like thunder. The room was tidy and neat but not clean, there was hair everywhere and writing on the wood around the bed.

Location is very good. Easy online check in and check out. Rooms have AC I had to pay 15 pounds to store my luggage before checking in. This is usually a free service in all hotels. The hotel is underground so no windows. That was fine to me as I knew before. However, you feel the underground every time it passes, which is literally every 5 minutes. If you have a light sleep, this might not be the best place for you to stay.
