The hotel location is good, a lot of bus stops are nearby, Hyde park is only 5 min of walking away. Also you can get to the London centre in 25 min. In the room where we've been was quite clean, no bad smelling, the beds and pillows were fairly convenient. They would clean your room each day if you wish to. The personal is polite and helpful. No lift. No fridge. Everything is needed a bit of upgrade.

The location is quite good for the price.And the staff are polite and friendly. The bathroom in the double room was extremely small; it was impossible to take a proper shower.

The location was great, walkable from Paddington tube and Hyde Park. I am sure there is a lot more around, but these are the places we visited. Lots of off-licences and cafés within walking distance too. The receptionist was helpful in getting the room cleaned but they were not very welcoming/approachable. Our room was fairly clean, but the bathroom was not! A lot of long, black hair was on the sink. Plus, the 'white' paper soap wrappers were brown (!) The hotel does not have a lift, and we were on the third floor - the final staircase is very steep and narrow. Just something I didn't see mentioned. Not wheelchair friendly in my opinion. Even the ground floor corridors were very narrow.

Rats running rampant outside the property constantly. Rubbish bags and a toilet dumped in front of the hotel. No attempt to clean it up by the hotel

We got a room on the first floor for four people, so the lift wasn’t an issue since we only had one floor to climb. It was spacious enough, with a lovely little balcony. The room was clean, and there was hot water as well. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Paddington Station.

Very near to Paddington station/Tube Room was very compact but served me well. All was good

I told them we were coming for a hen do and they contacted us to ask for the brides interests, and then decorated the room! The bride loved it, thank you. They cleaned the room daily and was immaculate Right round the corner from the tube and local shops for amenities. They had a few complimentary items in the room which was a nice touch. Alot of places don't do them anymore! We had the usual tea/coffee, plenty of towels, plus dental kits and mini wash kits. We're given keys to the main door and our room so could come and go as we please. We had a heatwave and were given a very powerful fan which was a godsend. Will definitely stay again! We found it brilliant but its not a place to stay if you have mobility needs. The stairs were hazardous and very tight hallways. Do wish there was air conditioning rather than the fan as the bathroom got unbearably hot but saying that it was 35 degrees outside

Excellent position, near Kensington Garden and Paddington Station. We booked Belmont Hotel and were placed in the near Astoria hotel which is far worse than it. Much older, cozier and in needs of a complete renovation. Also being at the third floor with no elevator and without being said it in advance, was difficult with our big luggages. Also no Ad/Ac, there was a light that we couldnt turn-off so it was even difficult to sleep with it always on.

Good location , quiet at night in hotel slippers provided and toothbrush and paste. Very clean and comfy bed. Facilities in room good including iron kettle hair dryer fan . Couldn’t open window and it was hot. Could not access bed from both sides. Would be difficult for less able person. Bathroom clean but tiny ,especially,shower for a larger person.

The location is great, very close to Paddington station. The room was small but suitable for a short stay. However, it lacked proper ventilation. A small fan was present but it was too loud and dusty when I turned it on.
