Room was freezing cold and it took over 4hrs to get warm. The end was incredibly uncomfortable and the pillows terrible. The breakfast was awful and covered in a yellow flourescent oil.

Excellent location with easy access to public transportation and local shops. Very atmospheric property with attractively decorated and comfortable rooms. Impressive customer service keen to do all they can to ensure a comfortable stay and enjoyable experience. Great value and highly recommended for a hotel in that area.

Good location for 58th street jazz club, friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast

Too many stairs for the up stairs rooms

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We liked that we could just pop down for a drink or some food which was extremely convenient. The floor had a big stain on it. Otherwise, everything else seemed clean and I liked the space.

Clean and comfortable Excellent breakfast

Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location felt safe and was in an interesting and fun neighborhood. The room phone wasn't connected because the cable was missing. The hallways smelled a bit musty/mildewed. Since the rooms are over a pub, there was a good amount of street noise in the vicinity (not really surprising though).

Very happy with overnight stay, it was in a perfect location for where I needed to go, Staff were so friendly, so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Even when booking I had a few questions about things and had replies immediately! Which was really lovely! Very comfy beds and I really struggle when in a different bed, so to say they are very comfy is really good! Would thoroughly recommend staying here if you need somewhere in London. Only fault I had was Breakfast was a bit disappointing, not the staff, again that was excellent! But the Bacon on the Full English was so overdone that I could barely cut through it, which was a shame.

location and staff Didnt like room without window with a view. Some rooms can be dark with windows that look out at walls.

The staff were lovely and welcoming and our room was clean and spacious. Great breakfast too! The area was surprisingly quiet at night, given how close it is to the high street. A perfect place to stay for our wonderful evening at Belle Livingstone's 58th St. Jazz experience, which was a 5 minute walk away. Frequent buses into central London ( we were there during the underground strikes!). Nothing
