The hotel has an excellent location, very close to all the major tourist attractions and places of interest. The staff were excellent, friendly, and very helpful. The room was good, clean, and comfortable. Overall, I had a very good experience and would recommend this hotel. The only thing I didn’t like about the accommodation is that there was no kettle in the hotel or in the room to make tea or coffee, and no microwave to heat food.

I paid for a room with Wi-Fi for a three-night stay, but the Wi-Fi did not work at all during my stay. I informed the owner as soon as I realised there was a problem. Instead of fixing it, he told me it would only be resolved on the evening of my last day—after my check-out, which was in the morning. That is a complete lack of respect for guests. When I checked out, I raised the issue at reception, and the receptionist was extremely arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. I do not recommend this accommodation. The room was very basic, and overall the experience was terrible.

Great location , just a blink away (walking distance) from Paddington station. There's also other stations /bus stops nearby. The bed was comfortable. The people at the reception were friendly and very helpful. We could leave are luggage before checking in and after checking out. Very helpful. Bathroom door handle was loose , same with the hangers on the door. Overall it was a bit "let down" . You could repaint the walls. Fair point of wanting a deposit in case something got damaged. But you could fix some things. There's no hairdryer in the room, you can get it at the reception but you need to pay deposit first. Same with fans - we stayed here in the week of heatwave and still had to ask the receptionist If they have any fans or something because it was unbearable hot and there was no air flow in the room. Of course we got a fan - but had to pay deposit (we got it back) but I think with temp going up 32°c that should be already in a room.

Good location. Friendly staff. Old building that is uncared for. Paint coming off the walls in the rooms. Uncomfortable single bed in our triple room. Thin doors/walls and could hear any traffic out in the stairs. Felt like shoddy student accommodation and is overpriced for what it is.

Excellent location and affordable. Perfect for our short stay. Lots of stairs as we stayed near the top of the building. It was also pretty hot in our room but that's just due to the weather outside

Good location, Cost. Room was oK nothing special, shared toilet, shower was not the best took while to warm up.

Location was good. Available last minute Room was boiling hot when I arrived, little care was taken to even shut the curtains before my arrival to keep the room cool.

The location was great, room was clean, and the reception staff member I spoke with was very friendly and helpful Noisy neighbors that could be heard through the walls, floors, and outdoors at all hours, and it was a small hot room with no fan just a window

The property is a short walk from both Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations. It is easy to reach from Paddington even when travelling with luggage. Hyde Park is right next to the property, and it took me around 15 minutes to walk to the concert area inside the park. Wembley is also easy to reach by Underground via Baker Street. Most other London attractions are easily accessible from Paddington. The hotel takes a £50 deposit, and the room uses a physical key. There is no lift, and reaching the third floor requires climbing narrow and winding stairs. This is important to consider if you are travelling with heavy luggage, children, or anyone who has difficulty using stairs. Separate from the lack of a lift, the property itself needs serious renovation. The building and the room feel very old and neglected rather than simply basic. Some surfaces looked worn, parts of the room were peeling, and the furniture and fittings looked dated and tired. The overall appearance was not very welcoming and did not match the price we paid. A renovation, fresh paint, updated furniture and better maintenance would make a significant difference. There is no air conditioning, only a fan. There is a small fridge, but the rest of the room is extremely basic. There was no full length mirror and no bedside lamps. The lighting for the entire room is controlled by one main switch, so if one person is getting ready while another person is sleeping, there is no smaller light that can be used without lighting up the whole room. In our room, the shower doors did not close properly, so water leaked onto the bathroom floor every time the shower was used.
