It was so clean and...

Staff were fantastic, very friendly. The location is incredible, truly must be the best located hotel in all of London. The rooms are very large and comfortable for London standards, with some nice touches that make you feel at home (kettle, choccies on your pillow etc). Great place to explore London from. No windows in my room so required opening the doors to the public balcony which felt a bit uncomfortable/ unsafe while traveling alone.

The staff were all really friendly and the location was superb! Right next to Hyde Park for a relaxing walk or a minute away from Lancaster Gate underground station for links all over the city. There was a fan in the room which helped in the heatwave, and the room was very clean and quiet. It’s quite basic but for the price you can’t expect more in London! We opted for the breakfast which was very good value at £5 per person, but the individually wrapped cheeses were out of date by nearly a couple of weeks and the apple juice had gone off and become fermented and undrinkable. There were no staff around to tell at the time, but I’d hate to think that someone might not notice and have a ruined holiday because of an upset stomach!

Amazing customer service. Arrived around 10.30 to drop off our case and as our room was ready the lovely receptionist checked us in, so unexpected, thank you. Fantastic breakfast, good coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and a great cold buffet choice all for £5! William checked us out and provided us with iced water and bottles of water for our onward journey. So welcome in 30 degrees heat. He clearly loves his job which was so refreshing to see in the difficult world of hospitality. Nothing

Love the building, location, staff, and bed comfort!!! Smallest room ever and the shower door wouldn’t stay closed. I had to shower with my foot on the ledge to keep I closed.

Easy access, near to what we were visiting. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. -

Great location, 10 minute walk from Paddington Station. Opposite the Italian Gardens in Hyde Park. 50m from Lancaster Gate tube. We had a lovely room overlooking the park. The room was so clean, with lovely bedding, free bottled water and plenty of tea and coffee. Great shower. All the staff were super friendly. Excellent price and value for London. Nothing.

The hotel was located close to Paddington Station for easy access to and from Heathrow Airport. Additionally, the Lancaster Gate tube station and bus stop is only a block away and provided easy transporation to most of the major sites in London. The room was well appointed and suprisingly spacious for our needs (we did have the larger 2 bed family room). An ample breakfast was available each morning for an additional £5 per person. The fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit were enjoyed. The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival and allowed us to store our luggage prior to actual check in and after we checked out. The bathroom was a bit dim with only 1 light and the bulb burned out in that on our last night. Thankfully the bathroom did have a skylight, which did help. There was not much room on the towel bar to hang wet towels in addition to dry towels. It would have been helpful to have a towel hook located somewhere in the bathroom. The view from our room was not ideal as it looked out to a parking lot and a fairly messy yard.

Location and friendly staff We were in room 104 which was incredibly hot as it faced into a dusty inner area with metal stairs and there was no breeze and no air conditioning. There was a fan but it just moved the hot air around. The mirror light in the bathroom didn’t work and the light by the mirror in the bedroom also didn’t work which meant there was poor light to get ready and apply make up. Despite having cold showers, we were hot and sticky getting ready to go out and found it really difficult to sleep.

What a gem! Excellent location with staff that welcomed you as if it were their home. I felt like a family guest - rooms very clean and were a good size and standard for the price. Windows opened to allow fresh air and it was very quiet for such a central location. Loved it all - will definitely book again, thank you.

location and our room on fourth floor with a lift plus luggage room warm evening didnt realise windows opened until morning but noisy road so catch 22

Fantastic staff, they were super friendly and welcoming...so helpful. Amazing location right on Hyde Park. A walk to Kensington Palace, close to the Tube and Railways and some great pubs in the area. Value for money. By London standards its great value for money. Also the breakfast offering was fantastic for only an additional 5 Pounds each. Our room was a great size just could use a little refresh but that is minor.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, beds comfy, amazed at the thoughtful contents of the wardrobe- hot water bottle, fan, iron and board, slippers and robes, hairdryer and plenty of proper hangers. Well priced range of drinks- £6 for a G&T. Excellent location opposite Hyde Park with a great Fullers pub close by. Shower water pressure a bit weak but that is nit picking
