Oban Victoria Hotel

I don’t like it,it was my worst experience in hotel.. I don’t have hot water and heat No hot water and no front desk to assist with the problem.The number provided is not going through and the customer service agent did not do shit

Central location and only a short distance from Victoria coach station and Victoria train station Property is secure by having a code entry system. The stay was disappointing overall. My original plan for the day was to leave my luggage at the hotel and to check in late evening, but there are no staff on site and check in has to be done online, which I found to be a rigmarole in itself. I tried phoning to ask if there was somewhere to leave my luggage but couldn't get through to anyone. I knocked on the door of the property in the morning to be met by a dissatisfied guest who was frustrated with not being able to get through to anyone to help them with difficulties they were experiencing...... I ended up having to pay to leave my luggage at left luggage at Victoria station, and had to take more than an hour out from what I was doing, and lose time visiting an attraction I was interested in, just to collect my suitcase from left luggage and check in to the property before going to a theatre show that I had booked. The experience would have been much less hassle if it had been possible to leave luggage at the hotel during the day, and due to this not being available, I don't think that I would stay there again. Bathroom was very small but seems clean, my room was very basic and not even a table of a decent size to set stuff on, the nearest "table" was a shelf that did not have much available space on it.

I didn't have breakfast included, the location is central so it's an advantage. The bed sheets seemed clean but there were hairs. The walls of the room were a little dirty and the entrance door was probably splattered with tea. But the price-quality ratio is balanced, so a pleasant stay.

Good option for an overnight stay

Location is good as close to Victoria Station and easy to locate. The bathroom though very small was recently renovated. We were assigned to Room 10. The paints on the wall have peeled off and were not repaired. Also, there were water leakages inside the wall with moulds, wetness and stains. We are surprised this was not attended to before it was assigned to us. If not because we arrived a bit late during the evening, we would have left the room and sought alternative accommodation. Fortunately, we only had to endure this for one night. This is easily the worst accommodation I had ever booked on Booking.com.

Their management is not good at all. I booked for 9 nights. The first three nights were very cold room because there was no heater in their room. I had a child with me. I requested them a lot, called and emailed them. After 3 days, they sent me a heater which really shocked me.

Cleaners must have gone on strike - carpet very dirty and used cotton buds behind bed.

Absolutely nothing. This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. This was hands down the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. The floors were dirty/covered in hair, several water stains on the walls and ceilings. Had to stay there the first night as it was late but moved to another hotel.

Did not order breakfast Bathroom too small, no teaspoons, no microwave, doors are make shift, dirty on passage carpets, no housekeeping,

Good sleep and everything was operational. Easy entry. There could have been more attention to the carpets for cleanliness. More bathroom supplies (toilet paper and hand soap) regularly stocked daily.
